This was one of the most AMAZING lunches. The food was phenomenal. All homemade. We have theJambalaya and pot roast sandwich which wasn’t on the menu, but order it. You won’t be disappointed. The best pot roast we have had in our life. After such and amazing lunch we went back for breakfast! Wow! Flavoral and yummy eggs Benedict and French toast. When we come back to Nashville this will definitely be the main place we eat.

I actually very much enjoyed the food. My only complaint was being overcharged. I was with a small group, ordered 2 bowls of chili, and 1 to go. The chili was very good, as was the rest of the food. When checking out I noticed some bowl of chili at 16.95 price which I assumed was for all the chili's combined, turned out to be 16.95 each, as opposed to the menu price of 6.95 i think. So ended up paying an extra 30 just in bowls of chili. Good food tho.

I've only been here a few times, I don't get to Nashville, In. very often, but when I do, we usually stop here for a quick bite. I had Hobnob's version of French Onion Soup. It was good, although the broth seemed a little weak, but not enough to ruin my meal. Service was nice, friendly. I bought a couple of Peanut Butter cookies on my way out for my hubby. They were good but a little hard.

We stopped in for a small diner experience with our children. It took quite a while for service to start, but the waitress was nice. The food was less than average. Our group had the shrimp tacos, Cheeseburger, tenderloin, open face turkey sandwich, kids pizza, and peanut butter and jelly. The Cheeseburger was your average frozen patty, the turkey sandwich was just that, a thin lunch meat sandwich, the shrimp tacos and tenderloin were just okay, the pizza was a small personal frozen Walmart pizza, and of course you can't say much about a pb&j. For an $80 meal we expected a bit more for the quality and serving sizes. .

This place is old but boasts the traditional quality of food. Loved the dishes we tried here. Everything was unique and was flavorsome. We tried chicken cilantro, tuna melt and pork tenderloin . There was a unique touch to the preparation. The ambience was very cozy and the building was very old. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The parking is going to be an issue as this was right along an intersection and you will have to park your car away and walk.

We visited while in the area after seeing glowing reviews and a recent article online highlighting the food. Our waitress, Susan, was WONDERFUL! She was very friendly. She seemed overworked but still was with a smile and very pleasant! The food was TERRIBLE ?. Susan did dixojnt the meal for us and charged for only our drinks and what we ate. We decided to let the owner know and also ensure that we left the “food” amount as a tip. The owner was working the register and he was THE WORST! Upon telling him what happened he immediately got very rude with us. He said “you didn’t like anything?”with attitude. I explained I was very picky, but unfortunately I didn’t. He continued to be super hateful as we continued our transaction. I asked for a copy of the receipt for ourselves (I planned to give it to the waitress to let her know we left $40 as the tip) and the owner threw the receipt across the counter very hatefully to us.I took the receipt to Susan who I found helping another table. I waited for her to finish and stopped her along her way back to the drink station. I explained we were grateful for her positive attitude. I asked her to confirm the man at the front was the owner and she stated he in fact was. I told her we wouldn’t return again, because of his hateful attitude towards us, but we truly appreciated her and her kind and inviting attitude. If I could give the restaurant negative stars I would. With 5 stars for the service from Susan! To the owner….. DO BETTER!!

The pot roast was good but had a lot of fat on it, even for a pot roast. I would have preferred to have some carrots with it as well. Everything else at the table was good, the Mandarin Chicken is served with a little too much sauce in all of our opinions but we do love the hobnob and the people
