Annually I go to the Candy Dish to pick out chocolates for Valentine's Day for my kids. They have a great selection of treats with milk, dark, and white chocolate, made with ingredients that noticably taste so much better than the other stores in town (we are locals). And they have a great selection of licorice!! It's such a joy to come home and arrange the chocolates in these old candy boxes, knowing it all came from a local store that truly cares about their product and our health!

Not bad selection, still not as good as my childhood candy stores growing up. But still best in the area from what I can tell. My kids loved it, 4 stars only due to price was a little high.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP Really wonderful and excellent service!I placed an order by phone for fudge. The owner was very happy to assist me but didn’t know what to charge for shipping. I gave him my order and suggested a small Priority Flat rate box ( fudge is heavy and I ordered 4 lbs) I offered my credit card but, he insisted on waiting till he had the total $ amount. When he called with the total he had already shipped it. I of course paid the amount. This is an honest and earnest person. On top of that I believe we received more than we ordered.I sincerely hope that they succeed in their business and would recommend them to everyone!Beverly W

Great selection of "real" licorice. More than twenty different varieties. On this trip, I got the Scottie Dogs and Carmela Sticks. Pricing around $10 per pound. Not bad considering all the licorice choices.

Love stopping in for some novelty candies from childhood as well as a big variety of hard candies and hand-dipped chocolates. Sugar-free too!

Nearly every experience we have had at the candy dish has been negative. The woman that runs the store is rude to the customers. She’s been rude to us and we’ve witnessed her being rude to others. The boy who works there is nice but the lady needs a lesson in manners. She should not be running a store in which her primary customers are kids. We won’t be back. There are other candy stores in Nashville and they don’t treat their customers with disrespect.

This family owned candy store could have been featured in Willy Wonka. They are very friendly, their selection is awesome, and we loved it!!!

I like the Candy Emporium. Spacious, fun things to browse. The shop wasn't overly stuffed with merchandise, making it easy to move around. You'll find candy including: today's favorites PEZ), retro/vintage/candy of yesteryear (think Chuckles), chocolate counter (buy by the pound or buy just a few pieces like it I did), and lots of tchotchkes and novelty items. Big assortment of teas and teapots. This was the only candy shop we visited, so I'm not sure how it compares to others. No fudge. I did see that advertised at a shop across the street. Great customer service from the women working the day we visited. I think we left spending around $15. 4/5 starts because my coconut haystacks and cashew cluster were pretty stale. Recommend.

This was a lovely stop in Nashville, my wife and I visited on our honeymoon and we loved it. The staff was very warm and welcoming even though they were close to closing time. They had quite a variety of candy and options some of which I haven't seen since I was a kid so nostalgia definitely set in. Definitely will be back next year!

I will never go in there again. I had a mask on when I entered the store. I got a phone call and took down one side of mask. I wasn't even thinking about it. A man that was an employee started screaming at me to put the mask on or if I didn't want to I could leave the store. He could have asked nicely. I am not a person who refuses to wear masks. He lost a sale and any future sales. He needs to learn how to deal with customers. You don't scream at people who come to look in your store.
