Chris transformed a 5' tall, 27" diameter tree stump in our yard to a beautiful barn owl in 1 day. We couldn't be more pleased.

Chris is a humble man with mad talent! If you're lucky enough to stumble upon his shop and catch him carving on a weekend, you will be amazed!Through the week, he performs onsite stump carvings and can create anything your mind can imagine. I placed a custom order and it was better than I could have imagined! Extremely reasonably priced after checking with other Midwest carvers. I will be a life long fan! Don't miss out on one of the coolest shops in all of Brown County.

So talented.. Amazing to stand and watch this guy turn a tree trunk into something else awesome using a chainsaw! From Giant Grizzly Bears to Totem Poles, and Signs to Souvenirs, and even customized stuff.. just ask him.

Hey Yelp, this place is open! I don't know why it is reported as closed, but that's not the case. The fool who reported it closed probably doesn't realize that most places in Nashville close for the winter Anyways, this is my second time here. The first time was the summer of 2013 when I bought a wonderful walking stick. The second was today. The owner was carving wood outside the shop with his chainsaw (pretty awesome!) and the shop was open. There was a sign that if you wanted to buy something to get the owner's attention. Inside was an assortment of items - I took some photos so you can check it out. Outside he had some carvings, including the well known giant bear and also a dragon! It's all handmade by the owner, so you can feel good about your purchases.
