The only issue I have is that I feel that the patients are not getting helped quickly enough. I will be visiting my grandmother, she will push the call button, and nobody comes in. I also am noticing when walking down the hallway, nurses just chatting, while the call lights are on meaning they need help. Other than that I would say it’s a pretty good establishment.

In the past two years I have had two loved ones at Autumn Woods. One in long term care and another in rehab. I cannot say enough great things about this facility. I have had terrible experiences with rehab at two other facilities in the Southern Indiana area so believe me, I know what I am talking about - this place is TOP NOTCH. One of the things that makes it so much better is their staff is much more stable - there are many people working there who have worked there MANY years. EVERYONE there is kind, inviting, and concerned about the wellbeing and care of the patients/residents. Most recently, my Dad was there for 2.5 weeks of rehab. The nursing staff was excellent. They came promptly when he needed them, his medication was provided timely, and in general they just provided great care. The therapy staff were genuinely interested in doing everything they could to help him progress. They have lots of activities and things to keep the patients/residents engaged. I noticed that everyone, all the staff from the Executive Director to the cleaning folks take the time to notice, talk to, and help with the patients. Icing on the cake is that the food there is good and the dietary folks strive to serve the patients/residents what they like to eat. Knowing that my loved ones were getting great care gave me peace of mind during a difficult time.

My Dad was recently there for hospice care. The place was very clean and the nurses, CNA’s and other employees were very nice. They always cheerfully greeted you. Their doors are open 24/7 so you can visit your loved one anytime. They offer complimentary soft drinks and ice cream. I can’t thank them enough for the care my Dad received. The employees were very attentive and always took the time to offer support, updates and to find the right person to address any needs or concerns. I would highly recommend them and very happy that my Dads final days were peaceful and done according to his wishes.

This facility has been absolutely incredible. My grandmother has been in the legacy unit for dementia and Alzheimer's for the past 8 months and all the staff have been nothing short of amazing. We are on her final days as she is due to pass anytime and so many of the nurses, aides and staff have come down to see her in tears themselves and have said how much they love her and how much they will miss her presence. They have cried, prayed and said so many kind words to her and our family. We are so forever grateful for them here and all they have done for her and our family.

they took wonderful care of my mom while she needed rehab after a fall. The staff was attentive and caring! The place is so beautiful and clean. She LOVED all the wonderful musical entertainment and Bill the activity fellas daily jokes! Highly recommend them for rehab as the rehab people got my mom back on her feet!

Amazing service! The manager, Taylor is wonderful and puts all the residents first before herself even if she has to make sacrifices. I would and I WILL recommend her to anybody that needs a nursing home for their loved ones. Don’t hesitate to make a visit and see for yourself why I put a 5/5 rating.

I am a person who has been in the facility to visit my friend who worked there years ago. I found another friend Bobbie Jo who works there now. My church family and friends donated to Autumn Woods to support their residents.Everyone seems truly committed to making life fuller and to show residents love and encouragement.Wonderful facility.

I highly recommend Autumn Woods. My mom has been at Autumn Woods for almost 2 years now. She is very happy and well cared for. I can't say enough about their activities. Bobby Jo and Bill Andrews go above and beyond to keep the residents active and engaged. Mom alway tells me how much she likes Autumn Woods. Bobby Jo is so wonderful to send pictures of my mom through the week. I really appreciate that. Autumn Woods is a wonderful facility with kind compassionate staff. They really are like family.

Autumn Woods is the best nursing home in Southern IN, hands down. I have been here in many capacities over the years, from supporting family during events, to being a CNA, to teaching nursing clinicals and every time they wow me with their high level of care and compassion they show the residents. Their activities department and Bobbie Jo goes above and beyond with the events they organize for residents that truly makes them feel special and loved. 10/10 recommend!

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Autumn Woods for almost three years. She considers the wonderful staff to be part of her family. She feels safe and and happy. We no longer have to worry about her being alone in her own home and feel secure knowing that she is being cared for. We highly recommend Autumn Woods to everyone needing long term care for their loved ones.

Our family is happy with the care our mom receives here. We often receive photos of our mom smiling and enjoying the festivities on campus. These photos are especially important for us as our family is in different parts of the country and this gives us a chance to see her happy. It would be helpful to have a more proactive connection with the nursing staff to receive updates on how our mother is doing medically. I did see a program offered for something like this and signed up but didn’t hear back. Hoping this will get some traction soon.
