This place is outrageously expensive, even when they run an add, or sale their sales are still more expensive than Walmart, and the customer service in seafood is terrible, most of the time nobody is there to help you and when someone does decide to work seafood, they're extremely rude!!!

In general, I try to avoid going into this Kroger location, however, I needed to make a grocery run closer to home last week. Set aside the fact that the company decided to cut employee hours and have fewer workers which meant stock blocking aisles, not enough cashiers, etc. What disturbed me the most was the filth, rotting odors and inoperable carts. Smelly trash bags were piled up in the lobby, no sanitizing wipes were available and the majority of the carts were broken. Inside, the lighting was dim and the floors were filthy along with the shelves. Spoiled product was obvious in the meat department. Frankly, I didn't want to touch anything in the store and couldn't get out of there fast enough!

THIS IS A GREAT KROGER STORE WITH A GREAT LOCATION ALSO. I USED TO WORK AT THIS KROGER STORE ABOUT 40 PLUS YEARS AGO WHEN IT WAS ACROSS STATE STREET WHERE THE TARGET STORE IS NOW .

Wish New Albany had a better managed grocery store.

I'm basically expected to check my own groceries out, but now I'm apparently expected to fetch my own cart from the parking lot. I may hate this location more than every other Kroger. Infuriating.

Other than high prices and poor management the lower employees are the kindest people.

The manager should be embarrassed how awful their shopping carts are, and how the employees never bring them in. Resign already

I've had 3 children over the past 10-15 years who've been employed at a Kroger/Jay C location with good experiences at the other two locations but this one has the absolute worst management team I've ever seen! My son worked at this location for about 6 weeks and found a higher paid position elsewhere. His final week he worked 39.5 hours and has yet to be paid. He has had two tickets submitted with "Kroger Connect" which is supposed to be a hotline of sorts for employees. They've explained they're unable to help him until the store actually submitted his time. I have allowed my son to handle this and he's placed numerous calls to corporate, the store and has repeatedly gone in to speak to them with nothing being worked out. The last time he's actually had communication from them it was Amsley (HR rep) who called the week prior to Thanksgiving stating the check was in the mail, it was never received! I finally, out of frustration decided to walk in to speak to either the front end manager Dorothy Taylor or Amsley (HR) and asked for either one at the customer service desk and Fiber who was completely professional called Dorothy and advised I was there to speak to her and why, Dorothy actually had the nerve to hang up on her and refused to come down to have an adult conversation with me. Since then they've been refusing any calls, refuses to come downstairs etc. I'm appalled at their behavior, it's unprofessional, rude and at best shoddy! I realize a single check for 39.5 his isn't a huge amount of money however when it is stolen from your child who worked for it, it matters! At this point we've now made calls to the Indiana department of labor and will continue to do whatever has to be done to stop these people from treating others like this! Hopefully, we'll be able to get this grossly unprofessional duo out of here and get this Kroger location back to where it needs to be!

I've had so much trouble with this pharmacy. If you have life threatening medications you need to take, you might as well start writing your will because these people do not care. You could call a head to make sure your prescription is filled on time. Nope. They never have anything on time. As a matter of fact they don't bother filling them until the 3rd time you show up begging them to fill them. Unfortunately I can't go to a different pharmacy because they are the only ones who take my insurance. Honestly I'd pay full price at this point just to get medications on time. *Update* my insurance happily switched pharmacies for me, best decision I ever made! I'll never have to suffer like this again. Bye Kroger!

Ugh! In there today before 8am & only one section of self checkout operating while the customer line stretched to other side of Kroger entrance. I asked guy working if he could request help to open other lanes and said "No". I went to a very friendly customer service counter lady that understood my request but no help. I asked for manager & she looked puzzled as if she didn't want to tell me the truth. I don't believe a functional manager was even there. After shaking her head & said no one was coming to talk I walked to end of line. Several minutes later that same lady closed customer service & opened up a checkout lane to assist. I give her credit for helping but Kroger needs to fix this. It's not the first time I've had that experience there. They are terrible at checkout lanes. People don't want to wait around 15 minutes to check out. Do better Kroger State St New Alnany, IN...

I placed a Kroger pickup order this evening. I arrived at the specified time and waited ten minutes. An employee came to my car to inform me that she was about to call to let me know that the order wouldn’t be ready for pickup for at least a couple hours. When I ordered pickup last week, I arrived at the appointed time and waited an hour to have my order delivered. This is a recurring experience. We’ve tried ordering delivery in the past, but every time we ordered, something from the order was missing, and it’s such a hassle to get a refund through customer support. When you go in person, there’s usually only one cash register open, and a MASSIVE line at the self checkout. We are extremely frustrated with the quality of service at this store.
