“Realized I never wrote a review for them, after receiving service from them twice. I DID make a public post about it on FB back when they service our car (in Sept 2021)... so I thought I'd share now, because they definitely deserve to be recognized for their great customer service and craftsmanship:I have to give mad props to Auto Collision Service on Hanna. The TL;DR version: we had a small problem w/ our car and the dealer was acting possessive about the repair… but ultimately couldn’t fix it. ACS fixed it…. And DIDN’T CHARGE ME.The Full Scoop:When we bought our new-to-us Toyota on Sat, we did it knowing full well that the mounting braces for the license plate holder were stripped. No biggie. We know a place.The following Monday I arrive at Auto Collision Service on Hanna and ask them about it. Guy looks at the brackets, takes pics goes into his office for a few minutes, comes back out, “So, all we need are two new brackets but the Toyota Service Center won’t sell them to us. But, I was talking with them and they said they do that type of repair all the time. I really hate to send you off like that, but it sounded like they should be able to get you in and out in no time. But don’t let them charge you more than $100, because it’s a simple fix.”Me: “Great. Where’s the service center?”Dan: [tells me the address… which happens to be where we JUST BOUGHT THE CAR]Me: I just bought this car from there on Saturday. If they ‘do repairs like that all the time’ why didn’t they say that when we bought it???Dan: WHAT!?!!! Then they honestly should fix it for free. I don’t know what to say. But def don’t pay more than $100. And if they give you a hard time, just come back and I’ll do whatever I can to help you out.Grateful for Dan, but irritated with Toyota, I drive across town to the dealership service center and tell the guy at the desk my problem. He calls another guy over and the two of them start staring intently at the back hatch of the car, taking in the profound damage.There’s a lot of back and forth, when the one guy really somberly says, “yeah, since I don’t have the tools to get up inside of there, we may have to just replace the lift gate….”Me: “Okay, time out. Full disclosure: I took this to a body shop already who told me they could EASILY repair this for less than $100, but YOUR SERVICE CENTER wouldn’t sell him the part AND told him to send me here because you guys ‘Do repairs like that all the time’. So, how are you gonna work with me to get this fixed, because you’re not replacing the lift gate.”Two Toyota guys look at each other. The one guy starts going into how he doesn’t have the tools that a body shop does.Me: So, will you sell me the parts?First guy: Nah. I’ll just give ‘em to you.Me: I don’t mind paying for them…First guy: No, that’s not necessary.I take these two, tiny threaded brackets back to ACS and Dan greets me.“Really? They gave you the run around?”I told him what happened. Dan asked me what day would work best to drop the car off to fix it, which was today. I dropped off the car and the brackets and the car was done soon after lunch time.When I went to pick it up Dan handed me the key as I pulled out my card. “No charge.”“Are you KIDDING?? Are you sure?!?!”“You got the parts. You did the hard part.”I don’t expect ACS to comp work. They repaired damage to our other car after an accident a little over a year ago and did a phenomenal job at a great price. We were so happy with their service, it’s the reason why we decided to go to them for the license plate bracket issue. Their customer service, guidance and care was far above and beyond what we expected and are so grateful for them. If you end up needing work on your vehicle, we definitely highly recommend them.”

“Nearly totalled my truck hitting a deer and that lead me to find Glenbrook Collision Center. I had serious doubts that my truck would ever be the same. Glenbrook Collision Center blew me away with the care and precision they repaired my truck with. Upon its return it truly was just about what it was pre collision. After a couple months I noticed a couple minor things thay came up after the repair and I'm wasn't shocked due to how badly the truck was damaged. When I made contact they showed immediate interest in seeing ot. And seeing what theu could do for it. The items were minor, but they gave it whole hearted and serious attention all over again. “After a collision with a deer I went to a chain shop where I had had work done in the past. They said they couldn't even write an estimate for three weeks. I found Boyd's online and had the estimate within an hour. Ron submitted everything to my insurance, got approval, and had the parts within a week. We dropped the vehicle off on a Monday, and by Friday it was finished. That was exactly two weeks after they first looked at the vehicle. The other shop would not have even written the estimate yet, and we had our vehicle back! Oh, by the way, it looks great.”
“Kelly and Cortnee have been life-savers for me! Cortnee helped me out with a bumper that was falling off and Kelly helped with my stubborn license plate and sliding door that needed oiled. “I popped the rear quarter panel (one piece with the bumper) on my '07 Lexus ES350. It was only insured for the other guy and hesitant to much money in this car. But, it looks good and runs great. I figured I would need to go to a mom and pop shop to have it put back together. I also had a $$ amount that I didn't want to surpass. Otherwise, it would be duct tape and gorilla glue. I had a great experience at Gerber by Glenbrook who repaired a dent and repainted on my then very new Acura TLX.

He looked it over and quoted me $75 to put it back in place and epoxy it (tabs had broken off). He admitted that it may not be perfect. As long as it wasn't flapping in the wind, I was going to be happy. They did an amazing job - it looks great. I was truly surprised that they didn't turn me away for a higher paying customer (you know, Insurance...). Gerber is 2 for 2, both home runs in my car game. They will always be my first stop for any vehicle repair, big or small. Wonderful, fair people at both locations. Thank you, thank you for a job well done!”
