As long as you don't require your debit card to work, and you don't have a job or anything that keeps you busy during the most basic banking hours you're in good hands. If you expect a competent institution that doesn't engage in theft/conversion (the legal terms when your property is wrongly kept from you) then this is a terrible place to be doing business.

I found Partners 1st when I bought a car and they provided the financing at better rates than my current credit union. When my current credit union informed my I had to make 15 debut purchases a month instead of 10 I looked at all the credit unions and liked what Partners 1st offered. They provide free checks, free checking, and debit cards with no minimum purchases per month. I also like the round up option you can opt in where they round all checks and debit card transactions up to the even dollar and put the extra change in your savings account. Checking account balancing is easier and you have extra savings - a great concept. There is a friendly atmosphere and the people take the time to make sure you are satisfied. If your banking institution is treating you like a number, give Partners 1st a try.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding service and support I have received from Cathy V. at Partners 1st Credit Union. As the branch manager, Cathy has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that my banking needs are met and that I feel welcome and valued as a member. From the moment I walked into the credit union, Cathy greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. She took the time to listen to my needs and helped me understand all of the different products and services available to me. She was patient, understanding, and always willing to answer any questions I had.Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with Cathy on a number of different financial matters. She has always been professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, genuinely interested in helping me achieve my financial goals. Whether I needed help with a loan application, setting up a new account, or simply had a question about my account, Cathy was always there to assist me.In addition to her excellent customer service skills, Cathy is also a strong leader and manager. She is always willing to listen to feedback and suggestions from her team and is constantly working to improve the overall experience for both members and employees.I am extremely grateful to Cathy and the entire team at Partners 1st Credit Union for all of their help and support over the years. Not suprising that I find myself in line to post a negative review of this crap financial institution. Car dealership got my auto loan thru them, before I knew it, I had a payment due and had received NOTHING from them. Was treated like crap when I went in to make a payment but didn't have an account number. Received CONTINUOUS notices that my insurance was invalid DESPITE having submitted it SEVERAL times. This is an unorganized place, and Thank GOD I don't have any money with them, because I am sure they would lose it, like other people have indicated. Customer Service- 0 stars Ability to maintain accurate records- 0 Stars ....Had to give them one to review them.

I have lost three debit cards dealing with this bank because they said I don't use my card enough so they said my card is inactive because I don't use it if I could start all over and go to a different bank without a hard inquiry on my credit report I would do it I got this bank for a secondary back so I don't want to use my debit card but when I do want to use it I expect it to work and this is a third time that they have been my card inactive I was told I need to at least use my card at once a month that's an inconvenience to me if I don't like using the card

This is the absolute WORST credit union you could start an account at. If I could give this business zero stars, I would. Every time I have called Partners 1st to discuss my account I've been on speaker phone for the entire building to hear. Their tellers always seem to be in a bad mood and cannot wait to end the conversation. Anytime I've gone in to speak with a teller, in hopes of some form of privacy I always feel as if I'm interrupting tellers personal, non work related, conversations. They refuse to cash or deposit checks unless you have the amount the check is worth already in your account. I realize that this is for their protection in case of overdraft, but they won't even cash my payroll check. So I have to take my weekly paycheck to another bank or a check cashing service (along with paying a fee) then go back to the bank to deposit my money. Don't ever deposit cash through the ATM, because they will lose it, and claim they have no record of it even though it shows up on your account details on their mobile banking services and your receipt. I was a member of General Credit Union for over 15 years and Partners 1st bought them out. I had no issues whatsoever until Partners took over. One day when I went to cash my check their systems were down and they took my check along with writing my account number down on a sticky note and left it on a counter where anyone could walk up and get my information. After asking them to move it to a more secure location, the teller got super snippy with me, rolled her eyes and said "We have cameras, stop being paranoid, this is our standard procedure." I've been to various locations, thinking that maybe it was only one particular location but I've had the same awful service all over town. If you value privacy with your account information, don't like feeling like you are burden, and want to be able to pay your bills on time do not use this credit union. You'd be better off just keeping cash under your mattress and buying a pre paid card from Walmart.

Made a cash deposit into their attached atm and a SIX days later they said they never got an envelope and my account was debited the $72 I had put into the envelope I saw go in, register deposit and produce a receipt saying so.
