Going to Bryant's Blueberries will be a family tradition. We went for the first time this past weekend and are smitten with it. BB is in Southern Indiana, only 30-45 minutes from Louisville. It was easy to find parking. You can have your bucket weighed before you start picking (so you don't end up paying for the weight of your bucket in the cost of blueberries), or you can get right down to picking. BB packs more than 40 rows of blueberries that I could see. And it's good to follow the advice on their website to start farther back in the orchard. We started around row 30 and had several berries to pick. My kids had so much fun. In 30 minutes or so we had a pound and a half. Since BB, grows several blueberry varieties, I'd love to go back and try different ones. After you're done you go to the register in the small building in the front of the orchard and pay $2.75/pound. It's also fun to admire all that people use for buckets, from Halloween buckets to reconfigured milk cartons to industrial containers. The clerk who checked us or said they would likely be open for the season until July 15. This was such a fun, easy and delicious family activity!

Great outing for all ages. Several different types of blueberries that ripen at different times. Berries grow on shrubs 5 to 6 feet tall. You don't need to crawl around and get dirty like you do picking strawberries. The farm is an easy drive from Louisville. Bring your own container and weigh it in the shop before you start. A lot of people bring a plastic 5 gallon bucket to sit on while picking, but I just stand.

2021- Picking was thin due to the late freeze and the berries are small but tasty. The owners are super nice and the bushes are in good shape. This year (2022) there wasn't much that was ripe and the place was a zoo, probably 500 people there, not a lot of fun.

The best blueberries around! There’s a great variety of blueberries too, from tart to sweet to in-between. The people there are so friendly, the place is clean and easy to navigate. Me and my family have been going here for years to pick their delicious berries, this place is definitely a secret little gem!
