I’ve been going to VCA Parkdale for years and never thought I’d find another vet like Dr. Saxon after she left — but Dr. Henry is truly exceptional. My dog Cooper developed sudden weakness in his back leg, and she was able to get us in on a Friday, which I appreciated so much.
She was incredibly thorough with her assessment and so gentle with him. Cooper has a lot of anxiety, and she handled him with such patience and compassion. The techs were also amazing — they immediately noticed how anxious he was and let me stay with him while they drew his blood, which helped him tremendously.
Dr. Henry took the time to explain all possible treatment options and differentials and made sure I was involved in every step of the decision-making process. When the bloodwork came back, she reviewed everything with me over the phone in such a clear, validating, and empathetic way. She never made me feel rushed.
I am beyond grateful for the care she provided. Dr. Henry is truly outstanding, and I couldn’t recommend her enough! Blessed to have crossed paths with her!

5044 Old Indiana 261, NewburghI have been taking my dogs here for the last several years. Recently, I had to put my oldest dog Yogu down. My wife called and made an appt to have him euthanized. On the day of the appointment, we checked in, and they took us immediately to a room. In the room, they had a blanket on the floor. The vet tech came in and walked me through the procedure and offered me some options. Before we started the procedure, they made my boy a final meal. They happened to have donuts and some goodies in the back. They treated him with such compassion. Huge shout out to the whole vet clinic in making his final minutes peaceful and caring. Yogi is now pain-free, and I can't thank the staff enough for how they treated him and me at the end of his life. R.I.P. Yogi Bear.

5761 Prospect Dr, NewburghWe have a mini golden puppy. Who would've thought this sweet puppy would need training? Buuuut she did need training. Since, the day we got her, at 12 weeks old. She was scared, she didn't know how to play with my other dog, she was insecure and fearful, and worst of all she would bite. I decided we need to get her in a training program ASAP. She 's 18 weeks old at this point, and I wanted to nip these behaviors before they got to be to bad. After, doing my research I decided to go with K9 Detection services. They have a 2 week training program. My expectations were a little low, just because she is a puppy. How much can you really teach a puppy? Now, she's been through the training. Let me tell YOU, she's a different dog. She's more confident, she plays good with my dog, she knows her commands and most importantly she seems so much happier. Chad and his crew really did a great job training and helping my puppy. The change in my dog, is more than I could've ever expected. I am so happy with the results from this training. Not only was this a great training program for my puppy, it was very affordable. Thanks K9 Detection Services!!

707 State St, NewburghMy husband, daughter and I went for lunch. It wasn’t very crowded. You go up to the counter and order. They have delicious slaw and fries. The fried fish was decent. I ordered red snapper. It was not cheap and I was very disappointed. It had very little flavor and was very dry. I would go back for the fish and fries. The shrimp and clams are both very good, but the snapper was a big letdown.
