Hours: The Hope Gallery is a vibrant boutique where adults with developmental disabilities, referred to as Team Members, create beautiful art and manage the storefront. Located in Bargersville, IN, since 2018 and expanded to Newburgh, IN, in 2021, this nonprofit project of The Alex and Ali Foundation focuses on providing vocational training, job skills, and community involvement. Visitors are greeted with positive energy and smiling faces, experiencing a shop filled with unique, handmade artwork that supports the local community and artists with disabilities from around the world. Customers have shared their joy in discovering amazing items for gifts and personal use, often returning for more. The atmosphere is lively, with Team Members enthusiastically engaging in their projects. Each piece sold comes with a card that tells the story of its creator, adding a personal touch. While the space can sometimes be busy, making it a bit overwhelming, the friendly staff and the gallery's mission leave a lasting impression. Many recommend visiting to experience the warmth and hope that permeate this special place.
