STAY AWAY!! I tried calling to get an account switched over to my name and gave me the same 4 numbers with same response and questions. I then decided to just cancel the account and they charge $200 to pick up their OWN tanks. I don’t see how this company is still in business.

I wish you could put a rating below 0. This is the most unhelpful group of people I've ever dealt with. Completely misleading and garbage customer service that will change your bill at any given time without warning. DO NOT WORK WITH COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

If I could give less than one star I would. Amerigas let my almost 80 year old mother's gas run out during -30 weather. Pipes are frozen. They said they would be there in 24 hours...it's been 4 days! Don't use this company!!

Terrible business practices of increasing prices and terms without communication with customers. Horrendous customer support. I’ve been a customer for five years and they just informed me they must fill my 500 gal tank twice per year per new policy or I have to pay an additional rental fee. I don’t even go through the 400 gals in the tank in 365 days currently let alone double this. How does this make any sense?

My elderly parents purchased gas on February 1 and as of February 15 still haven’t received it they are now out of gas in temperatures in the high teens outside. We have called multiple time the past couple days and been told it will arrive that day we are put on a emergency list and no delivery still. They tell me that they have no way to contact delivery team to send one out to get us gas. We have been lied to 3 days in a row now by this company. They have my parents money who are on a fixed income and are not delivering the service as promised. This company is a joke please do your research before using them!!!

This is the absolute worst company to buy propane from, scoundrels, ruffians, absolute bottom of the barrel service. Been waiting approximately two weeks for propane. My house is cold and my wife unhappy. Thanks to this company my children go to bed at night with a shiver. If you want to be treated like an animal I would suggest using this company. Never will I ever purchase anything from them ever again. All my money down the drain.

They do not deliver on time at all! I have been waiting weeks! I put my delivery order in two weeks ago and it should have been here within 1 week! I have kids and it’s freezing outside. I still don’t have propane and we have been using space heaters. Worst place ever. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. They keep saying it’s coming and it doesn’t. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Used to be a decent company. Not anymore! Been on a monthly payment plan for years based on my usage. (About 400 gallons a year). This past fill up that changed. Because I “owe a balance” I can’t be put on a payment plan. I didn’t owe anything till they delivered. As soon as they filled it up I owed them so I could not be put on a payment plan. They owed me money at the end of the last fiscal year from overpayment (about $200). Kept that & said it would e put towards the tank rental. Now they’re telling me I can’t have them remove the tank & get their gas back - because I owe them money… The people working there speak English, with fairly thick accents. Took 5 calls to get someone I could understand. Avoid at all costs!

I’ve attempted to get a deliver since 12/17/2020. It is now 11/8/2021 and now they’re not coming today…again. Since my tank is empty, I have to be home for the delivery. Hard to do when you work full time and they don’t show up! Choose a different company if you can. This is the worst situation I’ve ever experienced.

This place is terrible. Use to deliver in 1 to 2 days now it’s a week in the middle of summer. Their call center is in India now and no local touch at all.

If I could give a rating of NEGATIVE 10 stars I would. Due to an error on Ameri Gas’s part my service was wrongly shut off. I waited on hold for over an hour and was told I have to call back during regular business hours. I called first thing the next morning and finally after talking to 5 different people in 5 different departments, I was told my service would be restored within 24-72 hours, however they were going to expedite my service..Well that never happened and I spent the next 3 days making sure my pipes would not bust, and running electric heaters in my home to keep my kids warm.I called every day and every day I was told “They are coming today.” Here I am day 7 and still no propane, still no heat and no hot water. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have never given a bad review, but this has been such a horrible experience and I will be calling the BBB.
