I just recently had a baby at Riverview OBGYN. My providers were Dr Brazus and Jade. They both were absolutely amazing. The care I recieved was exceptional. From entering at the front door, somehow they all knew me, they worked all of my appointments in to fit my work schedule, and they always reached out when needed via phone or mychart. The hometown care I recieved was wonderful and I would highly recommend this duo team for either your OB or GYN needs.

My experience has been terrible. They take so long to get the results back to you. They have not replied to any of the messages that were sent to them on the portal. They don't call back after leaving them messages. They just don't seem to care enough.

First of all, it is very very difficult to contact them. There are multiple numbers to try, yet they all will not allow you to talk to a representative, OR the representative does not help.There have been multiple times where I’m left without my prescription because the doctor “denies the refill” and I have been unable to contact any representative who was able to help. I couldn’t find out why and this left me with bad cramping and spotting and threw off my cycle. Also, every time I receive a pack it’s a different brand which seems unprofessional to me.Recently, I scheduled an appointment 6 months in advance and they left me a voicemail a few days beforehand saying it had to be rescheduled. When i tried calling to reschedule during normal hours, the automated call ended saying I must call during office hours.I want to switch doctors but it seems that I can never get in for an appointment.

Do NOT go to Riverview Health OB/GYN - Dr.Rachel Davenport’s office.They will push and solicit you to get medical services you do not need so they can bill your visit differently.They will bill you outrageous Hospital and Outpatient charges instead of an In Office Annual Preventative visit.They will have several inaccuracies in your Medical Records as they see fit.Riverview Health Billing department associates nor their Supervisor will call you to resolve any billing issues.Services provided by the Doctor, her assistant and the customer services provided by the Billing department are totally unsatisfactory. Do not waste your time, money and effort at Riverview Health OB/GYN.

Some of the providers here are really amazing at making you feel comfortable. I had two visits here. I was told during the consultation I likely had coverage and they would send a pre-authorization to insurance prior to anything being completed. Turns out that did not occur and I now owe out of network fees close to 5k. Trying to get my medical records released and a referral sent to my new office has been extremely difficult and a lengthy process. I reached out to medical records after a few weeks and was informed they couldn't find anything and I had to try and contact my providers office yet again. This has been a very frustrating experience overall.

The practice is pretty good. A few of the medical assistants were not that great. Didn't properly know how to take a blood pressure and was just aloof. Dr Guyer did my cesarean and my incision healed without any problems.
