Did not purchase anything today, but we were peaking into the shop and they opened early just so we could look around. Answered all our questions and didn’t feel any pressure to buy anything. Very nice customer service. Will be purchasing a kayak from them soon.

Wanted to support a local buisness with our recent bike purchase. Found Pedals and Paddles thru TREK website. Test rode a couple bikes and wife picked out one she liked that was in the right size. We were told a few times that the sale price was ending the next day. After getting home she went for a short ride and realized getting on and off was more difficult than she realized. Called the owner and discussed the problem and what options we had. Was told that once it leaves the premisses it is not returnable for any reason. Owner stated it was on the receipt several times. This is not typical of TREK dealers. The other 2 TREK dealers I have talked to said they would take the bike back no questions asked. This was not stated anywhere on their site and was not communicated during the sale. It is only on the receipt after purchase. TREK in Fort Wayne will accept returns. If you are unsure on your bike selection or want to be able to try a wider variety, I would shop there.

A great local business that deserves your trust and support! I had an impressive experience with a repair on a kayak. They not only did the repair for an amazingly fair price but they did it while I shopped in the store! You will never find this kind of personal service in a big box store !!! Great people and great customer service!

Great place with friendly staff. Always a good selection of different kayaks in the showroom and lots of gear on the walls. Easy people to work with and always welcoming. If your looking for a great local place to buy a kayak this is the place for you!

My family and I are visiting from Texas and decided to rent 2 kayaks. At first we were only going to rent for the day but it turned into 48hrs. The service was phenomenal and they even deliver. I highly recommend renting a bike or kayak and getting out into the world.

I am fully aware not all repairs can be done while the customers wait. but given that it was a Sunday afternoon within 30 minutes of closing I am SUPER Grateful Steve was willing and able to complete my repair. Rode another fifteen miles when I got home. Interesting what happens when you ask google for open bicycle shop near me..
