I chose Budweiser beer and Verdi champagne, and lottery tickets were also available. The atmosphere was a small, to the point, no frills store. Staff and service were adequate. Overall experience was satisfactory. I wasn't afraid of patrons. And thete were no people loitering about.”
“The day before the July 4th holiday and the wonderful lady was the only one working. It was busy and she apologized for the wait. The phone was ringing constantly. She handled everything with grace and a smile. We go in every so often usually a holiday nearby. Great product and price. After finding, the staff arranged for their delivery driver to deliver when they can to a closer Belmont on the way home so that I wouldn't have to drive clear across town to get. This was awesome!! “I love this liquor store its never a long wait....But they have about 6 to 10 german shepards and other hughe dogs in there at any given time..though they are in behing a locked door and glass. I dont like having to pay and the man opens the glass and the dog is clearly big enough to jump over...they never try to attack but im personally afraid of dogs and hate going into establishments without warning”
“Amazing service... management will call Blarney Stone Stores in the area to find certain liquor if they do not have it in stock. She will send a driver to pick it up and have it back in the store on Union so it is ready for pick up! I call her my "doctor" because she has "meds." to heal!!! Truly amazing customer service!”

“From where I stay it's close by, people are pretty friendly there and they look out for you, they definitely have a lot of things there that I haven't seen that I would like to try at some point but if you wanna turn up and have a good time and is look for great drinks, this is the place I recommend if you close by the area. However people need to understand that they lock the doors at a earlier time than one o'clock, I feel that they should change the time around so customers do not get misunderstood about the time that they can come in to buy drinks, I understand most people come when the store is almost closed but I just feel that the owner should definitely let the public know the real time that them doors are permanently shut till morning which is 12:50 not 1:00”

“What you might think is this is just one of those dirty in the corner places that over charges. AJ's is clean and surprisingly enough, has some liquors available that you might have to order from Chalet. Staff is very respectful as well.”
“Unlike their other store, which used to be Max's Liquor, this one actually has genuinely courteous clerks. That remember your favorite products. At the other end of the spectrum about 4 miles West of this one there is a large lady that claims to be the Manager. Countless times I've went in to the old Max's liquor store and attempted to purchase lottery tickets and pay with my debit card. The large lady must not believe in the practice. Denied with a grimace. As a CX professional, I would remove that lady from her position post haste. The customer experience is a very important instance. There have been other unrelated instances involving this woman. She's just not a nice person.”

When I come in they remember my name and what I smoke and already have my cigarettes at the checkout by the time I get up there, rung up and ready to be paid for. Usually spend a few minutes talking with them before leaving and always get a big smile and hearty, "Be sure to come back and see us".”
