The people I deal with in the store are great but my review is based on gas pumps. They take your card and won’t unlock. I’ve purchased gas maybe 6 time there and had major issues half the time. It is not exclusive to this Marathon though it has happened to me at Marathon in Geneva and Portland, so I think it is their outdated card readers. Word to wise shop inside but don’t buy gas.

This Marathon gas station is located at 404 North Jefferson Street, Oasian, Indiana 46777. This is also a convenience store that sells everything else . Welches All Vehicle Repair is directly across the street from it. Besides the one time when a young lady pushed me to donate towards a local cause, I usually have a good customer experience when I visit this establishment. However, I found that most of the staff is unfamiliar with Google Wallet, Tap to Pay and any other touchless payments. I am new to using my phone to pay, however between July 20 and July 23 of 2024 I stopped here to use the Tap To Pay feature to use a $10 (ten dollars) digital card that my insurance company gave to me for referring them to a customer. I think you know why but I felt embarrassed after being declined the first and last attempts. After attempting to use it at another nearby location I called the issuer and they disclosed that this Marathon received the $10 (ten dollars) at my last visit. However I distinctly remember being declined and not receiving the gas I wanted to pay for! Be watchful when using the tap to pay at this location!

One of the females answered the phone and was very rude for me just asking a question about a product being available. And hung up on me

Do not try and use their Air Pump unless you have cash. The credit feature doesn't work. Inside they were unapologetic. Will not be back. I would strongly suggest not to shop here if possible.

Went to get a pound of ham. The person working the deli counter totally ignore me and did not acknowledge me for 15 minutes. Finally girl on cash register asked if I had been helped and that is when said deli person tells her she is working on orders and will be a half hour. Needless to say I left. Unfortunately rude service. Not customer friendly. At least acknowledge me!!

Legendary burgers at this place. Easily better than Steak and Shake or any fast food I’ve had. Fries are ok, next time I’ll just get two burgers.

Went by in the evening for just some snack-food. There was somebody smoking right by the door where a cigarette disposal is. My throat's extra sensitive to that stuff, so it's still aching from it a while later, and it's been a problem with some of their employees in the past.
