“This place is amazing. My alternator went out on my car when I was driving my mom back home to North Carolina from St Louis and luckily he was open since it was the day after new years. At first guy told me he couldn't do any repairs until next day cause alternators we're so hard to get to so I asked him to charge my battery so I could get to nearest hotel for the night and once he saw that my alternator was directly on top and had easy access he got the part in and got it installed and got me back on the road to NC within a couple hours. I am so thankful he was open that day and able to help me out. First photo is bad alternator. 2nd is new alternator installed”

“My daughter's car had to be towed on a Saturday and this was the only place open in the area. The reviews were stellar, so I gave it a shot. I am two states away, trying to coordinate her car being fixed... Which could have been difficult, but he made it SO EASY to work with him. He was honest, polite, explained every single thing that he did, what he saw when he did it. He was thorough. He had no problem helping coordinate between myself and my daughter and we were able to get her back on the road in no time for a really reasonable price! I only wish I lived close enough for him to be my mechanic! I absolutely recommend S & D Auto Mechanics!!!”
“These r some of the best ppl I have ever met. Their knowledge and commitment to customer care is outstanding. We had a oversize load hung up on a mountain road. He recommended me to a great body work guy (Mabry) and coordinated with him to finish the rest of the repairs after I bumped a deer. “I was very disappointed going here, I put in a appointment for 4:00 pm and after all the waiting he said he didn’t have an oil filter and that he looked at autozone for one and they were out of stock. When I went to autozone they had three in stock so he lied to me and when I talked to them about it the employees said he’s been calling Napa and has blamed autozone for never having anything he is a big old lie and if you need to go on a road trip and need be in a hurry he’ll drop you as a client last minute”

“Now I will say this place does do the best to get you in and out the receptionist Kathy is VERY POLITE this is my 2nd time coming here for a minor issue and it was addressed and solved
But now where I do have a small issue that caused me some time this morning whoever did my airline replacement FORGOT to put the seal back on the airline running from the tractor I had to wait from 330am till 730am to get the issue taken care of I called at 715am Kathy once again answered told her problem she had the shop formen come out took him like 5 minutes to fix my issue

“Zero complaints. When I arrived, I wasn't sure where to go so i just called the front office. Guy came out to meet me and let me know which door to back into. Unloading took around 2 hrs. Good amount of room to maneuver, though I could imagine it would be significantly more difficult if the dock was more full.”
