Nice hotel. I've stayed here before. Comfy bed and plenty of places to eat close by. Breakfast buffet has a nice variety.

I checked into the hotel around 1:20 am on 8/19/2025, and while the staff were very friendly, I was surprised by how my request for a late check-out was handled. When I asked if I could check out later, I wasn’t given the chance to fully explain my situation. My request was immediately declined without consideration.
Given that I checked in so late at night and was extremely tired, I had hoped to rest a bit longer—at least until 2:00 pm. Unfortunately, I was required to check out by 11:00 am, which felt unreasonable under the circumstances.

We were in the room 5 minutes and my child was covered in fleas from sitting in the chair. We immediately went to the front desk and we were given another room. The young lady was nice but she went to inspect the room and said that she only saw 1. I know that is not the truth. She saw the fleas on my child's pants. She gave me a bag to put the pants in. She only said this after speaking with her manager. I told her to go back in there and sit in the chair and she will see more than one. She said she did not want to do that.

Had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the continental breakfast and pool were nice touches.

This hotel does not seem like a health-safe place to stay. Everything smells musty like they have a major water or HVAC problem. My wife’s mold allergy kicked into high gear after checking in. If there was anywhere else to stay on short notice, we would have sacrificed the no-refund policy and changed hotels.
Rooms were decent except for the really gross smell.
We paid almost $300 for this room, which is highway robbery.

Very nice and clean hotel that is ideally located. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Close to I70 and the airport.

Lots of water damage. Hallways and my room has high humidity. Dehumidifier in the hall reads %90 humidity. See photos. The air in the hotel is stale and damp not unlike an abandoned building. Seen mold but not as much as i thought i would see. I suspect there is more mold behind the peeling wallpaper. A 2 lights in the hotel room didn't work and the sheets had light stains and hair. Other than that the room is good. The employees are friendly. There are better hotels in the area i would stay at first. I can stay here again if i have to, i guess.

We had a great one night stay at Sonesta. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and smelled nice. Very nice coffee machine with lots of choices in the dining area(see pic). Great value. I would recommend staying here.

Judging from the mostly positive reviews, I booked this hotel using reward points. A lot of us frequent travelers use reward points. Right? Unfortunately, Indiana has experienced a high degree of humidity this May (or anyway that’s what they say) so the room they assigned us was very stuffy (to put it mildly). We cranked up the AC, sat on the sofa and chatted 10 minutes and the odor seemed to be getting worse instead of better. We asked for another room and sadly, it was no better. We signed a no refund policy which I’m quite familiar with and have paid for a room when my travel plans changed. Delayed flight, cancellations or decided to stay somewhere else longer. To not be elegible for a refund when a room is unbearable is not good business. The front desk agent even commented that they use dehumidifiers in the rooms when it’s humid so they ARE aware of the problem. I have stayed in all categories of hotels in Central America where it is far more humid and have never had such an unpleasant room. We moved to SpringHill Suite which was delightful and only $20 or so $$ more. Silly me. Once I heard it was a former Best Western, I shoulda known. Just don’t book this hotel with a third party.

Deplorable customer service without even walking through the door. Last-minute reservation change, Was told I was still going to be charged for the night even though I was not staying there. Understand that that is policy and had agreed, Asked again Because sometimes even though there are policies in place some places in the spirit of good customer service will help you out with some sort of break or something, Was told repeatedly no, which is fine in the end… What is not fine is when you started to be talked over, to be spoken to with a tone, When you raise your tone to match or get a word in, and that tone is matched and accelerated to the point that you and the person you’re speaking with are going back-and-forth at top volume for 20 minutes… Being threatened by the hotel that my daughter would not be able to play in the volleyball tournament that we were driving six hours to play in because the hotel is canceling your reservation and still charging you… anyway, My issue Was initially trying to cancel one night on my reservation, Which I understood, but the fact that their customer service is so poor that buyer beware, If you have any complaints that they do not agree with, Be prepared to be yelled at… Also during the conversation, I was by informed that the general manager, Brittany, that this hotel is a franchise which means there’s no corporate office for you to contact with complaints and that she is in fact the owner’s daughter. So this is the environment that you are walking into, Be happy with your stay or else is the kind of vibe that I got, good luck
Follow up; I see that you responded and I’m happy for you. I would never stay at your dad’s hotel even if I were paid to which is fortunate that there’s like 10 other hotels in the area and countless airbnb’s. I told you during our conversation that I was going to leave a review and you laughed and said that you didn’t care so here it is… good luck with your future guests, I wish you nothing but a complete lack of success which I’m sure doesn’t matter because daddy’s got you, it’s cool… but I guess I should thank you, Rasheka said yall have bedbugs anyway so phew, dodged a bullet there!!
