Always very helpful. I go in every day for work and they are extremely professional, have a pleasant attitude and are quick to help if i have any issues. I go to a lot of first merchants locations but Plainfield is definitely the best. All the ladies are awesome including Chloe, Erin, and Kara.

This is not my main bank. I work in Plainfield so decided to make a transaction here. Right of 40 so location was great. It took no time and teller was really nice.

We have done business with 1st Merchants Bank for many years!!! Very personal, helpful, friendly, international transaction, plus we are happy to do business with them. Very good service, if I do say so.:-)

Went in person to close my account completely and they tell me I have an outstanding balance I said ok I can pay it and then I want to close the account. She told me to wait until the next day to make sure the pending balance clears. So what, are they going to charge me ANOTHER OVERDRAFT FEE?! I CAN'T AFFORD IT! WORSE BANK EVER! THEY MAKE IT HARD TO CLOSE AN ACCOUNT. I've banked with First Merchants bank for the last 21 years now and I'm over it! Moving to CHIME!

I have nothing against this specific location. But making me open a checking to use their online content... It makes it far harder to keep up with my payments. It's my only payment like this. And it's annoying.This location though is generally quick and friendly. So I have nothing against the people there. Just, requiring you to sign up for something you don't need in order to have access to an essential service (online) is pretty annoying.

We've used first merchants Bank for many years. Jason takes care of us and our accounts with a very personal touch. It's a throwback to excellent service.
