Came to this place to get tires done waited a whole day till the am to have 4 used tires put on after 3 hours of working on this we made it an hour down the road till 2 out of the 4 tires blew out already!!!!

I am a part time driver (retired). I took company trucks in for alignment. Appointment was kept and they were very courteous to me. But make sure you are on time or early because there is a big demand for their alignment stall.

Last year on May 30th 2024 I had an appointment to get 4 new tires installed on my truck. I purchased online and Goodyear recommended Gem City tire for the install. Worst mistake of my life. I got my tires installed then I noticed the installer coming into the shop by the counter talking to people. Then noticed everyone going out to the shop looking at my truck. By the time everything seems to calm down I went to ask what was going on. No one could give me an answer. I then went and talked to Matt Longfellow and he informed me that their machine had peeled back paint on my rims. We then proceeded to go out and take a look when I noticed the installer using a spray paint can to cover up the damage. The installer then told me that their machine had a broken piece and it wasn’t equipped to install tires on custom rims. Matt then informed me that if I wasn’t happy to call him and let him know and he would make it right by having them repaired. I called the next business day then he informed me that their repair guy no longer does rim repairs. So of course he tells me he will replace the damaged rims. Well after call after call after call he keeps giving me excuse after excuse excuse and a year later still haven’t had my rims repaired or replaced. It’s now
May 20th All I want is to have them fixed. Matt had had my number for a year now and hasn’t made things right. Goodyear even made contact with this place and they told them the same thing. Goodyear did refund me my install fee but I feel like Gem City tire should have made things right. Matt Longfellow should be a man of his word and step up to make it right if he still works there. I don’t need a replacement just repaired. I will never go back to this company. I hope the owner will reach out and make things right but we will see.

OTR trucker with tire issues and not only did JOE and JASON show up an 1.5 hrs earlier than ETA,they had me rolling with TWO new tires faster than could warm up dinner....thanks guys.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After 22 years, he joined the alignment department of Ina.
There is no use. They are just looting. They say that they have done the adjustment and they do nothing. The nut bolt does not open after heating it, please adjust it accordingly. There is no use in wasting money.

Had a blowout in my dump truck. Called the guys at Gem City, they said bring it in we are first come first serve. They got me right in and installed two tires on my truck. It was two used tires but I feel the price was fair and they had me out the door in about 40 minutes. Thought my day was shot but was only down an hour total. All the guys were friendly and the shop was very clean for a tire shop.
