the man who did my nails was very nice and gentle however the manicure was really poorly done. i had nail polish left on my skin, around my ring finger, and the color was opaque and i could see through it. also, two days after i got my set my pinky and thumb nail both broke off while i was doing laundry. my nails were also in a lot of pain so i ended up having to have them removed by another salon just three days after getting them done.
also the sheet said a full set of acrylics was $55. i was kind of confused when i went to check out and he said my total was $75 before tip. unsure of where they extra $20 charge came from because i got regular polish with no design.

My friend and I had a great experience at Glacé Nails. The staff are all so friendly. It was my first pedicure and it won't be my last.

I want to start by saying that the place was clean and nice. However, I’ve never paid $85 for a basic manicure before. Additionally, the person who did my nails accidentally clipped my toes, causing the lotion she applied to my feet to burn. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. It really doesn’t deserve a one-star rating, but that’s the only option I have.

Love getting my pedicures here. The salon is so clean and calm. The technicians are kind and do a great job. Lots of choices for color, I always get gel. Go for the mud treatment, it's extra but worth it. The leg massage feels heavenly. My gel pedicure will last 8 weeks.

I had a great experience here. I’m in town from San Francisco and my feet were extremely dry and callused. They took a lot of extra time to remove all of my calluses and moisturize. I really appreciated their kindness and relaxed atmosphere.

If I could give them a negative zero I would. The worst nail salon I ever been. Inexperienced nail tech. Dude got mad at me because I refused to tip him. My nails didn’t last two weeks and it’s already chip off. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

these people are so rude, my mother ended up getting charged over almost $300 for three girls acrylics. worst birthday ever.. we kept getting charged for things we didn’t know we had to pay for, they trick you into accepting their offers without telling you there is a price. the process is rough and they will cut your skin and leave your fingers burning and bleeding!! anyone would be LUCKY to have a good experience here. looking at other reviews, this place should’ve been shut down A LONG TIME AGO. i’m not a person to leave reviews really at all but i created an account just for this one. save yourself and go somewhere else yall.

Worst experience I’ve had! Pedicure application was so thick that it ran onto my skin. This was after I was told my nails were dry and I could leave. (About 15 minutes after application)I had to return to the salon to have it remedied after noticing this as I stepped outside of the salon in bright sunlight. Someone else addressed this and had to re-apply some polish. Again very thick. Sat under the dryer and 40 minutes later I put my shoes on and the polish came off. Additionally as I sat in the chair, I was relaxing with my eyes closed. The pedicurist asked if I wanted the warm towel. I agreed assuming it was a part of the experience but was charged an additional $10. Lastly, my husband was with me. He had a pedicure as well. Our services began at the same time, but my service was complete before his was… he didn’t get nail polish. Will not be going back!

I went to this place for a full set w/ gel polish. I had a 50.00 gift certificate. Looking on the website, the price listing is way off. I payed over 100.00 and was shocked.
I called today and asked how much for a fill in gel polish. 50.00 and more depending on 1or 2 colors, how long nails are and so on. I can't afford that even with a gift certificate.
If I remember correctly, they didn't do a very good job the 1st and only time I have gone.
False advertising is not a well meaning business practice.

Went in it was empty service was completely rushed not many color options and when i got home i realized my pinky toes were not painted at all and i have a cut on two of my toes i will not be returning i only went bc i was in the area i do not recommend!!!!

Fastest pedicure I've ever had - start to finish 20 minutes tops, including the mud mask for an extra fee she didn't ask if I wanted. My feet barely touched the water before she pulled them out to start. Not relaxing at all. She didn't speak to me and just keep hitting & grabbing my legs to switch. I had a closed water bottle between my leg and the chair and one of the grabs was so fast the bottle dumped into the foot water before I could attempt to grab it. The coral pink polish I picked was instead an orange plus gloopy sticky old looking as it came out. I have black specks on a couple nails. Then I sat and dried for an hour, wore sandals all day and my big toes had so much polish on that it finally got smashed down that night and looks very unprofessional. I'll try to include a picture from today, it's been a couple weeks so they've grown out but the specks and flattened polish have been the same since that day. I went with a group before an event and they also cut everyone's fingernails all the way down after being told not to.

I wish I had read these reviews before going here. But here is my honest review.
Pros - Clean and beautiful set up. Amazing location in metropolis/plainfield mall. Also, bonus that they are open on Sundays! Nice people (not over the top kind but decent business-esk niceness) which I can appreciate.
Cons - The main lady did my mani and pedi and was sooo rough in plucking my nail bed. Like I left with multiple cuts and bleeds on my hands and feet!! She was adamant about getting every hangnail until she was literally clipping my skin. She even convinced me to do my natural nails which I shouldn’t have listened to because even with gel, it’s peeling off way faster than when I do acrylic gel nails. Even my feet with gel polish is peeling which usually I can last a solid month without it peeling.
Idk if I’ll go back there and if I do I’ll definitely make sure to reiterate that I don’t want her plucking thing on me. She was too over zealous with that tool and left me in pain. But because she was nice it’s hard for me to tell people to never to go here.
