They did an awesome job and craftsmanship with my wife and I wedding rings of 40 years of being together/marriage after her passing away about 10 months ago... I requested Mason's to take both her and I wedding rings and make them as one by melting down both gold rings and utilizes our diamonds and making a beautiful, handcrafted men's ring that I can wear the rest of my life in honor of my beautiful wife and to represent her our marriage and LOVE I will always have for her that will live in my heart forever!The ring turned out beautiful and Mason Jewelers did, and outstanding job and I highly recommend them...

They are so unbelievably kind and generous. I had brought in a few Kendra Scott necklaces and another necklace that was tangled so badly that I couldn’t do it myself. It took them over two hours to untangle the necklaces. It ended up being $30 because of the time that it took for her to do it. By the time they called I was already back home and I had already spent money there on a watch battery and getting some links taken out of a watch. I told them I would have to wait till next payday to come back for the necklaces that were untangled. Angela told me not to worry about the money. It was on the house! That was so nice and she didn’t have to do that! They have a customer for life!

I went to Mason Jewelers just to get a new pin that connects the band to the watch. Steve Mason did a fantastic job installing a new pin. Also it was done for free! I really appreciated Steve doing that. This is the second time I've been to Mason Jewelers. I highly recommend their business to anyone who desires good service.

This place is amazing. I live in Avon and took a chance on a random jewelry store by reading reviews first. Once I arrived to Mason Jewelers, I was immediately met with kindness, a listening ear and over the top customer service. Anthony especially, has worked with me on fixing a broken chain, searching for a new charm and even taking care of my father's USMC specialty glass that had chipped. I would come here over and over again because everyone is soooo friendly. That's what matters to me and most people who think the jewelry buying process is difficult or tedious. Mason Jewelers will always have my business because they're honest and transparent about everything, leaving me to wonder about nothing. I look forward to the continued business between Mason Jewelers and myself. Keep up the great work and continuously appeasing me for all my jewelry needs. I would recommend this place 10/10 anytime!

Went in with a broken pin that held my watch band on… came out in less than 5 min with it fixed and they said it was on the house!!Thank you Mason Jewelers!! It’s great to be on the receiving end of doing the right thing for customers and community!

Couple pair of earrings left for adjustment and I ordered a silver ankle bracelet from their extensive catalog choices. All done in a timely manner and did not charge for earring repairs!! Great, considerate work. Shall return.

Great customer service. I had Mason’s remove some links from my watch to have it re-sized and was in a bit of a time crunch, but they were able to do an excellent job within 10 minutes. I would recommend them for your jewelry needs.

After I proposed to my boyfriend, we went and picked out a ring for me. Masons was our first stop so when I found my dream ring, I was still hesitant. We left with a gentleman telling us, “you’ll be back.” I laughed, but of course he was right. After thwarting off the vultures at the big brand stores, we did come back to Masons. They’re by far the friendliest and most comfortable store. There was no pressure to get a big sale, we didn’t feel cornered. We committed to this ring, the very first one I ever tried on. I was ready to walk right out and show everyone, but the salesman said there was no way he’s letting me leave with how loose it was. I wasn’t thinking straight, clearly, the ring could do a full spin and would hang upside down..(shrug) love is blind!I picked it up from being resized days earlier than I was expecting! Perfect fit!To summarize. We left with a perfect ring. In the perfect size. With a red lobster gift card, a restaurant we love. This experience was straight from Nicholas Sparks himself.

We live near Plainfield, and are so pleased to have convenient access to Mason Jewelers. Every time we visit, for purchasing jewelry, or for a service, we are pleased by their desire to meet our needs. This week, I broke my cross' necklace. To function properly, it needed another "final link" to link with the closure. Even though it was a comparatively low budget repair, Mason treated it, and me, as if it was the priciest offering in the store. In less than an hour I came back to find the work wonderfully done. When trying to pay for the service, they insisted, "No charge." I was so very grateful, again, that we have family-owned Mason's Jewelry available to us! Thank you!! ❤️? We'll definitely use Mason Jewelry for our jewelry-related needs!

I took a watch there for cleaning, chrystal and a battery. It was in rough shape and had green crud on the underneath side where the band attached. Went to pick it up and flipped it over and it still had green crud on it. Scott said he left it in the cleaning solution as long as he could. I told him I wasn't impressed with the cleaning and he got all defensive and asked me what else he could do. He then took it to the back and brought it back to me 45 seconds or a minute later and said he scraped it off and that was all he could do. I looked at it and the crud was gone but it still didn't look great. Bottom line, he must not have paid any attention to detail when he cleaned it. Just didn't care enough to do a good job.

My dad passed away recently. My mom took a necklace he had given her when they got engaged 47 years ago to be fixed. They said they could send it out. She explained she needed it soon to wear to the memorial service. Mr. Mason took the piece to the back immediately and fixed it and then declined to charge for the service. We are so thankful for their kindness and outstanding service!

Mason Jewelers has been our go to store for 53 years. Scott’s mom and dad ran the Greencastle store when we purchased our wedding rings. We have purchased many beautiful pieces from Scott. They are always great with communication, customer service, quality and price. Whether it’s a new piece or one that needs repaired, they are excellent!!!

My fiancé and I purchased an engagement ring on Oct. 22nd. I almost walked out of the store because the owner made an unnecessary remark said to us when he was frustrated his grandson given us a 20% discount after we missed the 50% Anniversary sale (originally we looked at the engagement ring the next day). We paid cash, and the ring needed to be resized. The first time resizing the ring, it was a little loose, twirling around my finger. My fiancé and I went back in on a weekend. We asked the jeweler and sales ladies to look at it. Everyone agreed the ring still needed to go down in size so I would not lose it. The second time I picked up my ring, the resize was not done well. My band had been thinned on one side and was not round any longer(more octagon shape). I didn't want to go through a 3rd time resizing, I wanted to wear my ring. I finally went back to Mason's to speak with a sales associate. She agreed the ring needed to be repaired. She would personally speak with the jeweler who sizes the ring. I specified not thin out the band and ask for the band to be built backup. I picked up the ring this evening, a shank was added, which I fully understand, but there was an area of the band thinned once again. I am frustrated with the service I received. The first time we shopped for the ring, the grandson with out knowing dropped his door keys on the sidewalk in front of the store, my fiancé went outside and saw the key ring and gave it to the associate, he asked if they belonged to anyone there. When we purchased the ring, we only wanted to shop local. We didn't feel the need to shop "down the street" as the remark was said. We haven't had a great experience. We love what we chose together. To Mason's, it's just a sale.However, it has meaning to the purchaser. Just be cautious when dealing with Mason's. It's hard to say what your experience may be. The enclosed photo is the resizing my 18k white gold ring. In addition to the owners response..First, I have not even got to wear my ring a consistent 3 weeks since I kept sending it in to be corrected. Second, This what the owner now calls a used ring, which in their store they call them Estate rings which was in perfect shape, the band was not worn down in any way, shape or form until it was resized the second time!! Everyone including the owner praised this beautiful ring! Third, I offered to pay the 3rd time for a correction, of an circular mounting had become an octagon mounting the associate clearly saw the issue, more than said it needs to be corrected on Mason's end. Fourth, I took it to a Northside local upscale jeweler who stated the correction was unfinished. Fifth, Once I get my ring back I will submit pictures on a job well done! I am from a 46 yr old family owned business never would we treat our customers as done here! Bottom line, Masons states the sizing is included when the ring is purchased. If this was done correctly the first time we surely wouldnt be where we are at today!!!!! Please let your grandson and sales associates know as customers do walk out of your business and they start talking amongst themselves about a dissatisfied customer. The customer can clearly see this in the front glass of your store. I am going to the Better Business Bureau as well. On 1.17.2023 I added a photo of a proper repair of my ring from a Northside local jewelry store., big difference!

My husband and I have bought our fine jewelry exclusively from Mason’s since we “found them” in 2015. Always a friendly atmosphere, Scott is very attentive and focuses on our description of what we’re seeking. We upgraded my wedding set after telling Scott what we liked. He brought several beautiful choices back from a jewelry show and I fell in love with the one we traded for… I tell my friends and family to check out Mason’s!
