I’ve been coming to Moon‘s Nails for a couple years now. I am always very happy but this last visit was phenomenal. Johnny was so thorough and stayed late to make sure that everything about my service was perfect. Lisa did my pedicure and was thorough and detailed. I appreciate the wonderful work and look forward to my next time there!

Kim is a phenomenal nail tech. She’s very eager to do new designs and you bring her a picture and she will definitely try and do it and if she can’t, she would improvise.
They have convenient hours. You can make an appointment or even walk in. They take you even up to almost closing time.
Their pedicure chairs have always worked in their super comfy. Jenny was my go to girl, but she has now retired. They definitely need another Jenny.
Overall, I’ve been coming here over six years. I have all natural nails, and they take good care of me as well as all their clients. They usually know by name.

I had an acrylic toe nail and when I had it removed my toe nail was bleeding. She removed the acrylic nail but I think she could’ve done a better job cutting my toe nail.

Great service! Great look!
Requested style: Tangerine deluxe spa pedicure. Feels wonderful on old sore legs. They wrap your legs in warm towels. Massage, and hot stone legs and feet.

After taking off gel, nails were scruffy and they only put a base coat on top half of nails. so bottom half showed scuff marks through clear coat for French tip nails. When questioned I was told that was not the polish it was my nail. And they repeated it to me a couple times
Well duh ?. But Nothing was done to fix the problem she just repainted clear coat. This was my second visit and also my last since I wasn’t excited about my first visit anyway.

The lady that did my nails was very nice so I did not want to have to leave a review. I asked for my old acrylics to be removed, as well as a new set with a small design. The removal process was painful and she initially just tried to pop my nails off. I do not get my nails done very often. I’ve only had them done twice this year. So, my natural nails are very strong and yet they will look absolutely brittle after I get these off.I asked her to soak them after she tried to pop them off because this was clearly hurting me. She only brought one bowl. She would only let one hand soak at a time for only a minute or two before she would start drilling on that hand, and move the bowl to the other one. If she would’ve let both my hands soak for 10 to 20 minutes this would not have damaged my natural nails as badly. It also took 45 minutes to remove them. My natural nails were very long. I was considering just having the removal because of how painful it was and keeping my natural nails long but because my nails were damaged from the removal I went ahead and got the acrylics, hoping that it would get better from there. I showed her two simple designs and asked her if she was able to do this because if she was not able, I would’ve chosen a solid color and that would’ve been fine. I showed her two designs and she was struggling to find the correct color for the base. The one we settled on would not have worked for that design and instead it would’ve matched the first one better. Not perfectly but better. So I said let’s just go ahead and do that because the other design was slightly more advanced and at this point I was concerned for how my nails were gonna turn out. I am not a nail tech if I show you a photo and you say you can do it, then I will need your help to pick out the correct colors to match the photo. The most time was spent putting on the dip base color and by the time we got to the French tip and design it seemed they were rushing to clean and sweep and this was putting her in a rush on the most important part of the acrylics. I asked her to only do a design on one finger on one hand, because I did not trust that the design would match on the other hand. (I was right) my French tips are uneven they are already chipping I had this done yesterday. One of my nails is extremely crooked to the point where I had to ask her to move the French tip down a little bit on the right side so that it would give the illusion that it is not crooked. Without the designs this looks like a set of press on nails. I was then charged $80 because I technically have a design. The lines on the mediocre hearts on each finger are uneven and the hearts are different kinds of hearts. Half of these acrylics are very thin as well as my natural nails. I’m fearful that these are going to break off and possibly break my natural nails off in the next week. I thought for sure once I got to the counter that there would be a discount or I would just be charged for a normal set without a design since they look so bad but I was charged full price for a design and I didn’t even get the original design that I had chosen that was a little bit harder because she chose the wrong base color. I still tipped her 25% because That’s just who I am. if you have nail techs that struggle perhaps their prices should be cheaper, they should be monitored or they should be in training a little bit longer. I recognize that this woman works hard and she is very sweet but I feel I just wasted $100 and it took an hour and 40 minutes. I have tipped good every time I’ve come in I’m respectful and I try not to interrupt their creative process. By the end I just wanted to leave. The entire process was so rushed and yet took a very long time. PS. Their nail Stations are not clean. I feel the tools used on me are not thoroughly cleaned. I was sat at a table with no glass visor so my old nails were flying all over me I had a moment where I felt pieces hitting my face near my eyes. I set my hands on the table and I can feel old dust. It almost feels disrespectful to your patrons.

Scheduled three pedicures (one adult two children) for 1pm. We arrived at 1pm and were told to go sit in the pedi chairs, and we sat there for over 30 minutes. Once the pedicures finally started they felt rushed and not worth waiting that long for. My nails were cut crooked and the paint is messed up, not all the way to the cuticle and on my skin. Will not be returning.

I will not recommend this place to anyone. I went in Moon Nails for a fill on acrylic nails they originally did less than 2 weeks ago. One nail had to be replaced due to the nail was popping off at the base of the nail. I was not informed that I was to be charged for their original poor workmanship. At check out I was charged more than a new full set due to one replacement. I am outraged that the idiotic response from the manager was every shop charges this fee. I feel shorted and ripped off. I told him to his face he will not be seeing me again. I hope this saves the next poor soul they try to do underhanded business tactics with, no one deserves to be treated so badly. Their excuse that every nail shop practices this poor behavior is cowardly and irrelevant.

I absolutely love my mani pedi. I believe I received the deluxe pedicure? I chose the lavender scent which smelt heavenly. I also got a nice hot stone leg massage. That’s something I’ve never had before and I enjoyed it a lot. I got pink and white French tip. I will definitely be coming back.
Ps: I am not sure who did my mani pedi but I will ask next time I go and update this review.

This was my second time going. First time I requested a specific person and was seen by that person, who only do manicures. This time I made an appointment for a full acrylic set for 1pm. No additional information was given. I arrived at 12:58 for a 1pm appointment. Others came in after was seen before me. By that time its was 1:30pm. When asked why I haven’t been seated he basically told me because I didn’t request a specific person I have to wait. I was on my lunch break and just wanted to treat myself. I felt so uncomfortable ! And discriminated against. I will never go back. I would have just did a walk in if I’d known I had to be a VIP client to get seen on time for my appointment.

The quality of the place is immaculate. There was no wait for me and my cousin. The man who did my nail went to work and was very patient with me. I loved my girl Naomi, she ate down with the design. Go to this place ASAP!
