They very rude after the sale?.
I had them pick up my 25S tractor for service and ask for old parts to be returned with tractor.
When tractor return, driver said forgot old parts. Would bring out the weekend.
The weekend came and went no show, no call.
I called them the driver said he would bring parts out again on the weekend..
The weekend came and went no show no call..
I again called and talked to the owner Rex. He said they would bring parts if and when they were in my area next.
I suggested they box up and ship as. I already paid a $100 in freight to return. Rex said he was not Going Out of his way to return old parts..
I'm beginning to wonder if new parts even put on as they cannot produce the old parts or maybe holding hostage..
I dislike very much being left hanging waiting lied to.
Rex is unwilling to accept accountability for their failures. And resolve rather choses blame it on others. common factor in other many many reviews?
Very, very, very rude people.
Plainfield equipment need to revisit their mission statement.

After having my Hustler for months and after the employee (who is no longer with them) at the counter told me my machine was under warranty, I was charged the "discounted" fee of over $600 without so much as a phone call. The mower has been back for 20 mowing hours and is no better. Lost power, tracking right, problem unchanged and essentially unusable. Do not use their service department!

Scammed my dad and then accused him of lying. They sold him a Stihl battery powered weed wacker for a 2 acre yard. Told him it would recharge in 30mins and would run for 45 mins. It took 2 hours to recharge and ran for less than 30mins. And is not a good piece of equipment for a two acre yard at all. I went in there to return it and they said they can't return it because it's been used. And that what I had told them was hearsay. Yeah, it's hearsay when it benefits you. So am I suppose to start recording all my store interactions? It's not like the equipment was beat up at all. It was used once because what they had sold to us was not true. Now I'm stuck with little beckys electric, hot pink hummer 4 wheel battery weed wacker. :TLDR sold us a piece of equipment not fit for the job, accused us of lying when trying to return it.

Horrible customer service! They charged $73.00 for a simple thermostat and gasket. I made the purchase but felt like the price was way too high so I researched it.I found the exact same part in the exact same packaging on line for a third of the price. I went back to this place to simply ask if I could return it. When the individual I made the purchase from the the day before asked me why I wanted to return it I was straight honest and told him I found it on line much cheaper. At this point another employee whom I wasn't even dealing with began berating me for choosing to order it on line and continued to do so from across the room in front of other customers. Then charged me $25% to put a thermostat and gasket back in a box on the shelf. Berating me the entire time while eating with food running down his chin.Extremely rude and unprofessional.
