“I was skeptical when this mall came in, having grown up only going to indoor malls. Fast forward 20 years, and it's the only mall I go to. Ha! I've hosted an annual Girls Night Out for the last 27 years. We originally did it at Circle Center Mall. We came out to Plainfield when it was still Metropolis and haven't had it anywhere since. We watch a late matinee, secretly shop for one another and exchange gifts at dinner. Whether it's standards like Barnes & Noble, Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works and Kirkland's or something a little more entertaining like Spencer's, you'll always find something for everyone on your wish list. I also like that they do all kinds of free activities for the community and offer great dining options.
I know a lot of people don't care for the parking, which can be a bit of a walk in the busier times, but it's designed so that you can enjoy the walking from one store to the next. If you luck into a spot in front of a store, I guarantee you won't be complaining.”
