Clean and the staff is amazing!

Today around 9:30 PM 11september2025 ,we shopped at the Walmart on E Main Street Plainfield. My daughter picked out a K-pop album, and after we paid at the register, she opened it right there and noticed that it had already been opened before and some of the photo cards were missing.
We immediately went to Customer Service to explain the situation. The staff checked and confirmed that the album was indeed missing some items. Then an older woman, who appeared to be a manager (short, with white hair), came over. She started yelling at my daughter, saying: “It’s not our problem. If you bought it opened and don’t want it, here’s the trash—throw it away and leave.”
My daughter was so shocked and started crying. What hurt the most is that this manager never even apologized for speaking so harshly to a little child. This was an extremely upsetting and unprofessional experience.

I stayed in Plainfield for work this summer. I have been to many Walmarts by my hometown but this one blows them out of the water! I do weekly pickups and they are always fast, efficient, and there is NEVER anything missing. At other Walmarts it happens almost every run, never here. They also always have what I need in stock. There’s rarely been any substitutions! This team is awesome!

As of 7/27/25. I called customer service and was informed truck drivers can shop here. Just don't try to stay for more than two hours.
