So we bought a Buick Enclave from York, loved our salesman and it came with a service plan that includes oil changes. Stopped in last week & was told it would take close to 2 hours UNLESS I had an appointment, which I was told it would then only take 45-60 minutes... so of course I opted for the appointment! I made appointment for Monday @10. I checked in at 9:50. At 12:20, I still had heard nothing about my vehicle being done. I proceeded to go ask someone in the office & she checked with "Wes" who informed her he was just finishing up the paperwork. He came to let me know my car was done & I proceeded to ask why an simple oil change took over 2 & 1/2 hours. He apologized & said he would have to see who checked me in. I don't care about a service agreement at this point. That is plain disrespect of a person's time and schedule, NOT to mention its FALSE advertisement when you're telling customers it will only take an hour. Save your time & go elsewhere, these people don't care you are only a number to them!

Front-end customer service was excellent, and scheduling went smoothly with the initial service manager. However, I encountered frustration when discussing an update with the evening service manager. I don't want to criticize Miguel, but the repair recommendation I received seemed quite extreme. I'm disappointed, so reluctantly giving one star. Please feel free to reach out to me or I’ll gladly call in and speak to someone about the situation.

Wes from service (former transmission specialist) is legitimately the best dealership employee I’ve ever met! He took the time to fully explain to me what was going on with my car, which I greatly appreciated, and was also very kind while doing it! I’ll be back just to experience his customer service! Definitely deserves a raise or promotion! Thanks again Wes!

Have always had a great experience purchasing vehicles at York. I want to go even further to say the service department truly takes care of me every time. Particularly Jarrod Davis has always taken great care of my needs for my vehicle. He is personable when it comes to service and transparent when it comes to solving the few issues I’ve had. If you’re looking to find a new place to have your vehicle serviced, look no further than York JDR. If you’re looking for someone that you can count on, go to the last desk on the left and see Jarrod.

Service department is the absolute worst I have experienced. We were stupid enough to get out Jeep serviced here for far too long- 15 plus years. This last time was the the last! First day using some new app in the service department. I received the information and total amount for work to be done. I approved the amount only to be surprised after approval with an amount that was $1400 higher than I was approved. The only explanation I was given was that there must has been an glitch in the new system! Sounds like a scam to me-Will never go back.

Same experience as others listed. I have called 5 times and left 5 messages via VM and "paper messages" for a service request on an out of warranty car but no calls back. I can only surmise york doesn't need money as they are too busy and err go would not like my business on selling me a new car. Car-X thanks you guys!

My sister came there to get her oil changed, she had bought a package. They didn't change the filter. Who does that !!!! Then they asked if she wanted her tires rotated, she said yes. The next problem is they stripped 3 studs & lug nuts and told my sister that happens over time... No it doesn't.. I've worked on cars 50+ yrs and have never heard of this type of thing happening. On top of that she was charged over $230 for something they had broken. This took over 4 hours because there was no parts in stock. The word to describe this situation would be "FUBAR'".. You will get a lots of free advertisement from this.... My sister should not have been over charged for something that was broken by the mechanics there, also the filter should have been changed !!!!!

I purchased a 3 for 4 oil change/tire rotation package here. On my third visit, they tried to convince me my brakes needed to be changed. I had the bakes checked, and they were fine and not even close to needing changed. On my last visit, I waited 2 hours for an "express" oil change and had to leave due to other commitments.I am back a week later and was here 20 minutes before service opening. 40 minutes after they open the first vehicle still hasn't been worked on yet.

Yo - see Matt O. when you Go!He will make sure to get your car up to par.Seriously, he will work with the tech assigned to figure out what is going on with your car. I drive over 30 minutes because I know he will get the issue fixed. York did a good job hiring him and better do all that they can to keep him. Otherwise I will go wherever he goes because most service department try to pressure you to get $$$$ out of you. If I have car note, I do not have $$$$ for repairs...that's why I have a car note in the first place.

We recently moved to Plainfield Indiana. As my leasing is expired soon we decided to see what the option are. My husband was thinking about Jeep Cherokee hybrid, so we went to local dealership to check it out. But they had such a great cars in stock so we change our minds to Dodge Durango R/T.We worked with Joel Haulk, and I must say that he is such a great sale person to work with.First of all, he was very patient while we were choosing the car, as we had to choose between Jeep Cherokee hybrid, Dodge Charger and Dodge Durango. Second, Joel offered us test drives, explained all pros and cons, was so professional all the time. So, we ended up getting great deal for finance of our new Dodge Durango R/T. Highly recommended! ?

While I can't honestly say the deal was perfectly clean without any issues, overall there were some pretty ethical and honest people who do sell here that believe in making sure the customer is treated fairly. One guy I believe in is Mike the sales manager who will assure that York makes money at the same time makes sure that the customer gets treated fairly. That is mor than most salesmen will do. In a business where customers already are standoffish about dealing with car salesmen it's nice to know that at the "York" dealership they are guided by ETHICS. Do right by your customers and they do right by you. Reputation is everything and I will spread the word and definitely consider doing business here again in the future.

Purchased a brand new Willys Wrangler a few weeks ago. David was a great salesman and George kind of just wanted you to take that vehicle home the minute you got out of Jeep. I get it..they are there to sell vehicles. After 1k miles and being on vacation in Virginia the Jeep will not start. Endless phone calls to Plainfield Jeep and not a single response from Diane, George or David. With the help of CMA Jeep of Staunton, VA they discovered that Plainfield Jeep left the gps vehicle tracker on the Jeep which is typically taken off after purchase. Although the tracker doesn’t use a ton of power after time it can drain the battery just enough to where vehicle will not start. More importantly those trackers are left on leased vehicles and people who have bad credit anticipating a repossession in the future. Neither apply to us. I wish I could say use Plainfield Jeep but drive that extra few minutes and go to Andy Mohr or O’Brien Jeep.

Terrible Experience!! Brought a used 2012 dodge charger that was listed for around $9800, we paid cash $8500 for the vehicle and agreed to receive a full inspection report on vehicle to purchase "as is." We were under the impression that the items listed on the inspection report were the only things wrong with the vehicle which was a strut, tighten up the sway bar, and acuator for AC (these were the only items listed on report) We got the car home, drove it the next day (less than 24 hours later) for it to shut completely off on the high way, we brought the car back for the dealer to look at it. Salesman (Quinton) called me to state that the throttle body needs replaced and it will cost us an additional $1200. I did not agree with paying more money due to we just purchased the vehicle less than 24 hours ago and the issues that they were claiming that it had was not on the inspection report when we bought it. Later that day dealer (Sean) sales manager called back & states that the throttle body was a guess & diagnosis was not completed, then he says that they computer (PCM) needs replaced. I advised him that the computer was not on the inspection report to need replaced because if it was i would have never purchased the vehicle, he then states that we would have to pay and we were not getting a refund. Sean later agreed to do the work for computer at $700 then i added Ac repair which brought cost to $1100, 2 weeks later more engine work needed to be done in which dealer agreed to repair at no cost which was nice to do given we already paid out an additional $1100 in repairs in addition to the vehicle purchase price. Bottom line is that they do not do FULL INSPECTIONS on the most important components of the vehicle which is the engine and transmission and computer before they put these used cars up for sale on their lot. Very unprofessional and i felt robbed to fix repairs on a car that should have been repaired before we brought it. They claimed that they do a safety inspection which is a lie because engine problems and losing power on the high way is a safety hazard. General Manager (Rick) was not much help either. Never should a dealer sell a car that is not in safe working condition. Dispute was worked out but i WILL NEVER buy another vehicle from the dealer again. I recommend you to look elsewhere unless you want to be scammed into buying a Lemon! BEWARE

Our experience with the service department has been horrible. We brought our newer vehicle in for service mid-February and spent over a thousand dollars to fix the issues we were having. Once month later we started having the same exact issues again and we brought it back. We spent another $500 “fixing”the same issues that were supposed to be fixed the first time. At the beginning of May, we reluctantly brought it in again because the exact same issues were happening again. We were hoping that it would be under warranty since we had already been there for the exact same issues 2 times in the last few months and it obviously wasn’t fixed. They told us it would be another couple hundred dollars to fix another part. When we asked if that would finally fix the issue, we were told that they weren’t sure if it would fix the issues or not. After being told that, we decided we would just go get our car and take elsewhere instead of having them fix it for a 3rd time. They told us it would be $190 just to get our car back because they had a technician diagnose the problem. Since it wouldn’t be much more for them to fix the part they claimed needed fixed, we went ahead and did that instead of paying the $190 to literally just get our car back. It’s been 3 days since they ”fixed” it for the third time and we are still having the same exact issues we have been having since February. I will be sure to make sure all of my family and friends know to stay away from this dealership and it’s service department.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE! Anywhere else is better I would go to an unbranded dealer before them! It's been nothing but problems since it was York numerous appointments either not put in the system, or when you schedule an alignment they tear out the machine to replace and not call people to tell them about it. But don't ever go there for warranty work FOR SURE they don't want to deal with it and will ruin your approval for the claim! We had a problem with the air suspension on a grand cherokee called and told them what it was doing they said it was fine to drive until the appointment that was a month and a half away and no harm would be done. Finally get in to the appointment and since they don't want to deal with warranty work or do the leg work they tell the warranty company that we kept driving on it and caused further failure....when they had told us to do that so now they won't cover it
