I went to the Portage location today. I received wonderful customer service here. Although they were unable to resolve my issue, they went above & beyond to accommodate me. They were great!

Sold me the wrong headlight. I initially came to the register with correct product and asked them to double check. They said it was the wrong item and fetched a different one. When I showed them that the H11 says it’s for a coupe and I have a sedan, they insisted they chose the right product, so I left with it. When trying to install it was obviously wrong and the employees my husband spoke to were rude about it and the manager didn’t care about it all. They literally ran my license plate and still sold me the wrong product even though I brought up the correct one. No accountability or apology. No one willing to go one step beyond what the computer tells them or actually use a brain cell to figure out why we were coming up with different products. Just a waste of my time and it doesn’t matter to anyone. Thankfully mine was just a headlight. Hopefully someone doesn’t sell someone the wrong thing that could result in costly damage or an accident.

Salesperson sold my wife the wrong headlight for her car, and when I called to make sure I could return it, another salesperson was incredibly rude and didn't have a clue what he was talking about. He insisted I was wrong (I wasn't) but told me to bring it back to the store anyway so he could show me I was wrong (again, I wasn't wrong). When I got to the store, I spoke with the very soft-spoken manager, and he said I was correct and gave me the right lightbulb. Unfortunately, you can tell this is a manager who lets his employees walk all over him because when I told him about the rude interaction over the phone, he could not have cared less. He basically shrugged his shoulders and moved on.
I would give the place zero stars if I could. If the owner sees this, get better staff. Maybe some people who know what they're talking about.

The employees at this store are wonderful. They helped me choose the right items for my car and went above and beyond the call of duty. Super helpful and polite to EVERYONE. Even police officers that can't handle a young person's opinion. Shame on that officer for taking out his dislike of one employee's opinion on the whole store..wait that sounds familiar..kind of like a kid not liking all cops because of his/her experiences with a few. Well, except the cops are trained in how to deal with people that have a bad opinion of them. That kid must've really hurt his feelings. The job is to protect and serve not to go around intimidating people into subservience.

I went in to browse the seat covers for my squad car as the driver seat is pretty worn. While shopping a customer came in to purchase license plate bulbs because he had been stopped for them being out. The employee then began engaging in conversation about their, we'll say, "dislike", for Law Enforcement. I ended up just leaving. I don't feel welcome at this store anymore.
