“Acorn Acres Farm is a fantastic place to get locally grown and sourced greens, mushrooms, veg and meats. I am a huge baker and they carry my go to local flours from Janie's Mill in IL. They also order bulk amounts for me since I go through so much of the ancient and specialty grain flours. The ladies in the shop are always so nice and extremely helpful. Thank you!!!”

While I sometimes wish they had a bit more variety, the fact remains that you can find everything you need here for a healthy and affordable meal.Aldi's might just bring some fresh competition to Chesterton. The staff here is consistently friendly and helpful, making your shopping experience a breeze. Check-out is speedy, and there are never any long lines. The store is consistently clean, and if you need assistance, you can easily find an associate to help you out.With ample parking and a great location (formerly the old Kmart for those familiar with the area), Aldi's in Chesterton is a real gem. It's become my go-to place for groceries, and I'm sure it'll become yours too!”

“As part of Johnson’s farm produce there is a wonderful bakery, called Marilyn’s. They are open seasonally, but today they had a special pop-up for Lent and Valentine’s Day. I got a delicious treat and it was not too crowded when I was there.”

“I absolutely love this place this is my absolute go to spot for everything I need ...the only thing they don't carry is literally CANS OF SLOPPY JOE MIX !!!!!!! ITS seasonal and sloppy Joe mix is only carried in the summer time months why I don't understand but I guess sloppy joes isn't a summer time sandwich lol but everything else is top notch and there's some REALLY HOTT CHICKS THAT WORK AT ALDI'S ???????????”
