“Our fur baby Clampy is paralyzed. She has been in and out of veterinary offices and clinics since she was only 5 weeks old. This was by far our best experience ever. She left happy and spoiled rotten. Everyone was super friendly and attentive to her needs. She was attended to with the utmost care, love, affection, and dignity. In fact she was treated like family, and she loved every single minute. Thank you so much for treating our Clampy with so much love and care.”

“I made an appt through the pet app and was seen in a reasonable manner while at Coyne. I also liked that the receptionist mentioned future vaccines my pet needed beyond what we were there for. We got our pet up to date on all vaccinations till the end of the year, which saves me time. I appreciated that! Thank you.”

“Abor View has been a great vet for my rabbits - and believe me, I think I tried just about every exotic vet in the state when I moved here. When it became necessary to put down my 9 year old Angora rabbit, it was the most quiet, quick, and peaceful euthanasia I've ever been a part of. When another of my Angora rabbits was injured, they went above and beyond to keep her safe. They were always friendly, and they really care about the animals. Thank you!”

“I had an emergency today at my home. There was an injured Hawk in the yard. After making a few phone calls, I called Southlane. This wonderful man came & was able to net the bird so gently! It was amazing how much care he had for this beautiful bird. Hopefully, they'll be able to save the Hawk & he'll be able to be let free again?
I can't believe I didn't get the gentleman's name that helped us?
He was so knowledgeable & kind.

“Doctor Reed has been my vet for over 32 years. We contacted him on Monday June 6th because our dog dream girl what's not doing well she was having a hard time breathing she didn't eat for 2 days days and she wouldn't move she's 12 years old. We left a message at the office at 3 o'clock....The call wasn't returned until the office was closing at 553. And it was a text not even a call.i pleaded for someone to call I needed help I was afraid she was dying. We could not wait for there call so we call Dr Mahaffey in Valpo he advised us to go to Coyne Clinic in portage . Dr reed has all the medical history on dreamgirl he did surgery on her 9 months ago for kidney stones.... I trust Dr reed..I needed him to tell me what to do. I stand behind Dr Reed 100% however his system for returning calls for help is unacceptable.... I was told afterwards that his office is not an emergency clinic .I just needed a call back to tell me what to do... he is my vet... it was during office hours I needed him .....I read other reviews on this site and they complain about the customer service .so I am asking DR Reed to look into this matter about returning calls when people ask for help....I even asked the office to have Dr Reed call me..I hope he does. Dreamgirl died last night June 7th at home at about 730 at night after being treated on June 6th for possible heart disease at Coynn clinic...

The above review was written in 2021...I am very happy to report that Dr Reed has upgraded his telephone service and calls are handled more efficiently right after that review....you will recieve a text right after you leave a message if your call cannot be answered. They take all your information and within minutes you will get a response.. thank you Dr Reed for caring ..you are the best....”

“Hello, I wanted to say thank you for the help I received from HAC. They are very kind and understanding and work with me financially, showing me how to treat from home to try to save my litter of pit bull puppies. Sadly, Grayson and his brothers and sisters were called home. I lost 8 puppies in my arms in a span of 4 days due to a 2nd run of Parvo. With the help of HAC, Coty is looking good and eating and drinking again, which has kept my tears at bay. I wanted to leave this review to say Thank you guys very much.”

“This guy!! Let me tell you! Christopher Keeley saved my dogs life. After 14 hours at the Animal hospital this guy had me leaving with my dog! Doctor Keeley came in after his own work hours at his normal everyday Veterinary clinic to help our baby Ace that’s only a year and a half old. Spent 2 1/2 hours trying to retrieve a bone about 3inches long 2inches wide and 1/2 inch thick from my dog’s esophagus. I cannot believe how lucky we are because of the help of Doctor Keeley. My boyfriend and I seriously thank you from the bottom of our hearts. No amount of money can repay this guy for saving our little furbaby’s life.

“.I had to take my dog here to help her over the rainbow bridge. A task I never had to do before .As a person who works in a nursing home and deals with people at the end of their lives, I was impressed with the level of care and compassion the staff gave me at a very difficult time. Very perfessional. Dr.Gast was so sweet I felt like I had family there to support me. This was actually the first time my Pippa came see them because the cost was cheaper then my regular vet.When I decide on another pet Gast will have all my business. Highly recommend Gast Animal Hospital. Thank Dr. Gast and staff for all you done to help me through it”

“I had an appointment for my elderly cat at 5pm, this was on a day that they close at 7. I was getting him into their wellness program and worried about his current health. The vet was so informative and the staff even stayed until 730 just for my cat. Running tests, giving me information, and also giving me advice. They took their time figuring out the most affordable way for me to get my cat everything he needs, and they seems genuinely concerned for him. She even thanked me for adopting an elder (I got him when he was 12). They even called the next day to see how he was doing. Turns out my cat will be fine and hopefully we'll have another decade of memories together. I look forward to more appointments with them. It's refreshing after all the other locations I've been do, to have people actually tell me what's going and not just try to charge me for everything.”
