Station location is great and very close to the State and National Park. You can also walk to the State Park from here with a 30 min walk.

It’s a nice station to catch the commuter train into Chicago. Parking is free. I wish it had more of an international experience in regard to vending machines and refreshments. There is nothing available at the station. It would also be helpful if the bathrooms were much larger.

Train station will take you from Indiana Dunes to Chicago in an hour. They have ticket machines here to buy your tickets. Its super convenient, and a great way to spend the day.
