“T-Mobile 5G Home Internet Review: Fast & Affordable, Rural-Friendly (Princeton, IN)T-Mobile Home Internet is a black football sized combination modem/router that provides home internet that you access normally (WiFi and Ethernet), but it's brought to your home via T-Mobile's 5G cellular network rather than cable. I do not use their phone service but I recently started using their home internet.In-Store & Setup:-Smooth activation and checkout process, a single minimalist device provided.-Simple setup with pamphlet & phone app, even for tech newbies.-Clear instructions, avoids jargon.Tip: Power button is a small mechanical button on the lower back.Network & Performance:-Consistent 300-600 Mbps download speeds (good). ~30 Mbps upload speeds.-No slowdowns below 300 Mbps ever so far.-51ms unloaded and 135ms loaded latency is seen in speed tests. When actually playing games I have been very good/green 95% of the time.-Easily handles multiple TVs, phones, and gaming.-Lower priority on network might not be an issue in rural areas due to lack of people (everywhere around here probably)Comparison & Value:-Significantly cheaper than comparable Spectrum plans ($50 vs. $70+).-Great deal if the spot where it rests is a good 5G spot, but connection strength probably varies by location and you have to try it to know for sure. Even sitting it in different sides of a house can make a big difference sometimes.Cons:-Combined modem/router limits advanced router controls (port forwarding, etc.).-Can't use own router.Overall:Fast, affordable, and easy to set up. Perfect once you've confirmed you have a room that gets good 5G strength. Limited router control might be a concern for some users.Tips:-Try the free return window to guarantee it works for you.-Place the device near a window on the side closest to the T-Mobile tower.I hope this review helps you decide if T-Mobile 5G Home Internet is right for you. Thanks.”

“Complain all you want, my Walmart near me is ten times worse. I was here because the rvparky.com app says that this is the only place in the area that tolerates overnight parking in their lot. I'm in a Sprinter van that's converted into an RV and I like free parking. I also like clean restrooms and free wifi. All of that was experienced today at Walmart in Princeton!I was able to pick up a few snacks and drinks for the fridge as well. On a weeknight at 8:30pm, plenty of open lanes for self checkout. The parking lot was tidy and I found a quiet and level spot to spend the night without being disturbed.[Review 19664 overall - 47 in Indiana - 636 of 2023.]”
