This review is for an old encounter. I will explain. Just know things may be better now, I'm not sure.
A few years back I went in to get two tires replaced on my car. There was a slight power steering leak on my vehicle, which I knew about but didn't know the cause. Well I get my tires done and they did this part perfectly, no issues with that. My complaint is what happened next. Firestone told me it was leaking from the rack and pinion and would be 2-3 thousand dollars to replace. I said no thank you because I couldn't afford that anyway and took it home. My mechanically inclined father came over and we inspected it. No leak on the rack and pinion. Bone dry. There was however a rusted steering line leaking on the complete other end of the hood. I recently took it to newtons and they told me the same thing we had found. Rack and pinion is fine, just a steering line and it was 200. I have nothing bad to say about Firestone's work. But it sure seems you can't trust them. I have told this story to friends and coworkers in the local area and multiple of them have their own Firestone stories as well. Please be careful and always get a second opinion if you go there.

This past weekend (2/17/2024) I had an emergent situation arise as I was visiting Richmond from Kettering, Ohio. I was an hour away from home and my car was stopped on the side of 40 about .2 miles from Firestone. I could literally see the building from where I was sitting. Their team went above and beyond in 3 different ways during the day to get my car fixed and me back on the road to home. Jeff, Gary and Team treated me with kindness and respect and the situation was more peaceful than it could have been. I am grateful for this team and their support during this emergency situation! We need more teams like yours out there these days!

I had a pulley break on the highway near this Firestone on a Saturday at 3pm. Despite being busy, the team here made time to check out my car and quickly replace this pulley. After finding out I was from a different state driving through, they made it a priority to fix my car get me back on the road. I'm very thankful for their quick and kind actions!
