I was placed on hold for over 7 minutes before I hung up the phone. My business was apparently not important to this branch. I have been put on hold at other branches and was answered quickly by another teller.

I just moved from GA to IN yesterday. The banking institution that I use (SunTrust) doesnt have any bank branches in Indiana and so I started to look for banks around here, today (03-15-2016). I found that there are basically 3 banks and about 7 credit unions. After checking out every website, I decided that I liked MainSource Bank the best and it had a checking account that suited my needs(simple checking). I saw online where it said that the bank closed at 5 and it was currently 4:15pm when I saw that, so I left quickly and arrived at the bank location and was sitting in the waiting area at 4:25pm. I sat there from 4:25pm until 5:15pm. All the bank workers saw me and NOT once said "hello!" or "how can I help you?" Instead, they had me sit there and ignored me until it was time to close and even then I wasnt even asked to leave. What is even worse, is that a group of workers (3 of them) had gathered on the other side of the tile walkway at the entrance and talked about life and such from 4:35 until close. I will NOT be banking with this company because of this. This is the absolutely WORSE customer service I have ever received. I was beyond insulted. I dont know how this bank branch even stays open. If this is how they treat new customers, I would hate to see how they treat their existing customers.
