Uphaus Insurance Agency was founded by Steve’s grandfather Howard H. Uphaus in 1936 in Richmond. Steve’s father Howard M. Uphaus later joined the agency after serving in the Air Force. In 1984, Steve joined the agency as the third generation after attending IU East and studying business. The agency takes pride in being in Richmond and providing professional and friendly service to both customers and prospective customers.
