Hillside Shooting Sports is a business with friendly and helpful staff, great for beginners or veterans. It offers indoor and outdoor ranges for firearms and indoor for bows. The facility has great ranges and is also noted as a great gun store. Staff are described as wonderful teachers who focus on pairing customers with a suitable gun. The VIP class is very thorough and worthwhile. Many customers feel right at home and have amazing experiences. However, some experiences note that outdoor range staff can be rude, hovering, and strict about membership rules for longer distances, requiring a yearly fee to shoot beyond 200 yards.

The range itself is top notch. One of the best in Indiana in my opinion. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. Range officers can be a little standoffish but their job is safety so I understand the rigid attitudes. They do a great job and keeping the range safe so no harm no foul.
