I consider raccoon Lake one of the finest around. It has great camp grounds, fishing, boating & picnic areas. Restrooms are plentiful. And a nice beach?

A great State Park. Spent 5 day's camping with 4 day's boating. During the week the lake was perfect as expected. Didn't fish but talked to several people that did and it sounded like they did well. Campground facilities were well maintained. Everyone that worked there we talked to were great. Trails are in great condition. The only minor inconvenience is the lack of phone service with our carrier, nothing to do with the park.

Our campsite was amazing. We have plenty of room for all 6 of us and our 2 pups. The trails were great and clean. I did not like that they took all of our wood we brought because it had bark in it. Then we went to buy wood from their establishment and it also had bark on it. Mad me extremely angry and the fact the wood had a dark smoke to it because it was dirty, my wood was fresh and dry and definitely not a lot of of bark as what I was sold. So wasn't happy about that. Bathrooms were amazing and the weather was perfect.

An awesome State Park...beautiful and extremely well kept. Shower houses were very clean as were the sites. DNR staff consistently driving around making for a safe environment and very helpful. No doubt one of Indianas top spots to camp at. Camp store stocked with "forgotten" items and very friendly staff.

Great State Park to stay. Been going there for years. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the parking areas need to have some additional gravel and leveling done to them.

If they would not drain it every year, it could become a beautiful lake with an abundance of fish.Draining and then flooding it every year limits the fish population. It causes mud all around the edges.

I think I had the best campsite on the premises. Owls came to visit us while we enjoyed the fire. One of the attendants in the camp store was super friendly.Restrooms: They had restrooms called 'pit" toilet.Dog-friendliness: There were so many dogs.

The weather was perfect and the campsites and bathrooms were clean. Fire pit for the campsite had an adjustable grate for cooking. ???? The campground itself lost power on Saturday, but it was back on before it got dark. Not sure what happened there. The showers didn’t have hot water, but not sure if that was due to the power outage. Other than that, I have no complaints and a good time was had by all! ?

This park has a relatively large lake where you can go boating, use your own motorboat, and they also offer boat rentals. There's a dedicated swimming area at one corner of the lake, and you can have picnics in the park as well as camping facilities. I feel it's quite nice.Restrooms: Restrooms are relatively easy to find and reasonably clean

Our favorite summer camping spot. Book early otherwise you won’t get in, this place is always sold out. Gorgeous lake, big boat dock, and beach area for the kids to swim. Plenty of picnic areas and playgrounds. The bathrooms and showers are the cleanest around. Plenty of hot water. Large, paved camping spots with electric hookups available. Also nice primitive camping area. Extended bike/walking trail that’s just gorgeous. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

They have a lake you can rent a pontoon on and it's really nice. It's like $400 for 5 hours and a tube. Seats 11 people plenty of dry storage as well. You can tug the tube with the boat for some fun times
