“Customer service was great, but had problems with their communication between each other, was getting a necklace that was supposed to be engraved with a “Q” on one side and the date of birth on the other. So after my wife gave birth and we knew the date 12-12-23 I called to tell them what date to put on it, brought the necklace back and a few minutes later I got a call saying it was done and ready, which I was surprised being as it was only 15 minutes. Needless to say the necklace didn’t have the plate or charm on it, but rather just on the chain, no problem they said they would get it taken care of they didn’t have a description how it was supposed to be. Then I get a call that they need to send it in to be lasered because the solder would melt the pendant, still no problem just some added time. Go to pick it up and it looks wonderful but they never added the date to the back side of the plate, they tried to add it in shop and it was only readable with a magnifying glass, they offered to send it back to replace/correct it but it’s already been over a month now and my wife just said to bring it home as is.Edit: updated because they reached out and made it right by remaking the whole piece and then we came and exchanged the current necklace we had for the correct one and everything worked out in the long run.”

“Well, I bought my dress here after visiting every store in the mall, and not only being disappointed, but horrified at the selection. Bonnie was simply amazing and went through all the dresses to help me. I'm a discerning client with standards and a more classy style. I don't want matronly, but also don't want to have my crotch peeking out as this year's dresses seem to provide for. I ended up with just the right dress for the occasion and was equally pleased with the price. If you want better chances of finding something that will meet your needs, I suggest skipping the mall and head straight to Judee's and ask for Bonnie. She will help you find just the right thing for your event as well as your budget. My event is the military ball, so they are set to dress not only elevated events, but every day wear. Don't come here if your style isnt chic classique. Also, be prepared to fall in love with multiple items and have several pieces to round out your wardrobe...but also bring your wallet because similarly to other high end boutiques, the prices are also high end. Just sayin'...”

Kate did an amazing job asking me what I was looking for in an engagement ring, asking all the right questions and showing me many different rings until I found the right one. “Marian Constantinescu, Van Horne Jewelers's High-End Clockmaker, was outstanding! He serviced our grandfather clock in our home; the clock's not been working since my husband Michael was a child (his grandfather left it to his mother, and she left it to him). It had some broken and missing parts, yet Marian came prepared for what seems like any situation. It took him about four hours to fix, but his work was well-worth the wait. He paid so much attention to detail that he pointed out things I would never have noticed (like that he leveled it such that it would be parrellel with our wall which has a slight angle to it). We had to wait a few months to get the call that he was available, as he's the only clockmaker in about a hundred-mile radius, but we're so happy with his friendliness, professionalism, and patience in explaining to us basic care and maintenance. And when I offered him a tip, he wouldn't take; "It is my job."Van Horne Jewelers had great customer service. Thank you!”

“The gem of jewelry stores in South Bend! After another store sold me a ring but didn’t provide an appraisal I stopped to speak to someone about getting an appraisal. After discovering Diamond Jim’s I have not purchased anything anywhere else. I have made 10+ purchases and each one has been a pleasure! As well as myself, my mother, husband, sister and Brother in law are all loyal customers as well. Jeff is knowledgeable and kind. He is honest which is hard to find in the jewelry market. They also can do custom jewelry! I had a replica of my grandmas ring made and it’s perfect! Bonus: there is a store dog Alpha!”

“It's a fairly large market for South Bend, but I admit, I was expecting a different style...you know, a parking lot with little tents and so on. This was like a grocery store with generational stalls. The pricing was way higher than I was expecting, as well. I get it though...I live on a farm and know how much work it takes to do this, but Daaaym! Expensive! Seems like everyone was willing to help you buy something, which was cool, but it felt rushed and a bit contrived for a Mishawaka market. I mean, some high-falutin' kind of business going on here. Be prepared to spend a leg on some mighty fine mushrooms and honey.”

“Well this is a definite on straight to business no bs they won't rip you off best jewelers/coin people in the surrounding 10 counties. They pay more for gold and silver than anyone else. To top off the 5 star they know what they're looking at without looking it up very knowledgeable. They can tell you within a 90 percent tile if you got real gold without checking but they still check it anyways. Great people here”

“Love the clothes great Size range for xs to xxl, it's all there and it's in fashion and stylish. Worth the money and didn't shrink up in the wash. Best place to get a baby shower gift , housewarming etc. But you know if you get the wrong person to ring you up, she never leaves that front area. The rest are very helpful. So must be either important or the owner operater or related. She's dreadful to deal with. Ignored you while ringing it treats you like your a bother, or answers the phone while ringing you up, it's awfubleven though there's 3 back there, who could do that and" look at her like seriously" she doesn't get this, Brunette with hair in a clip and a horrid attitude for bothering her to ring you up. I'm spending my money here. But you make it a challenge instead of a pleasure. I'm glad to catch the store with her off shift ya know? I go there regularly and pray not to get her.”
