“I went in once before today with my friend, and she loved it. Today was my first time getting anything myself. Lace and Barb were fantastic. The Butterscotch frappe and Cranapple muffin I got is delicious! The atmosphere screams small town Cafe and I love it; nice and homey. I will definitely be back again!”

“My mother, Sherri Wilford, is from Rushville, but lives in Indianapolis. She wanted me to leave this review since she does not know how to use the internet for such things. She loves, loves, loves this place. She has my dad drive her all the way to Rushville just to shop at this establishment because, well, she loves it.I was actually there, with my mother, once, and found the place to be warm and inviting like a grandmother's house. I thought the name was, therefore, quite fitting. The owner seems tuly concerned with the happiness of her customers and invites them to contact her directly in the unlikely event that they are displeased for any reason.I highy recommend this place (on behalf of my mother, who, in case I forgot to mention, loves it) Go check it out.”

“Of course this isn't a fancy 5 star restaurant but it doesn't try to be. It is what it advertises home comfort. I always enjoy stopping here especially on a cold rainy day. Sitting by the wood burning fireplace is so comforting. Everyone was especially friendly tonight. I'm not sure if we looked like regulars but the other customers even said goodbye as they left. Our waitress Odessa was very friendly and on top of our drinks that's a must for me. The food is like something grandma would have made. I usually get the grilled chicken with turnip greens, pinto beans, and of course the fried apples. My wife got the sunrise sampler. She said the gravy could have been better but she ate everything.”
