Not a good financial institution Set up an estate account Was issued Checks Paid estates bills 1st financial froze the account Have late fees Run across 3 counties Fixing bank mistake End up resulting in Is us payinglthe The fee to a Utility Went on for 2 months with no result Over a $50 charge Highly unprofessional Someone you want to trust your money with Beware Be alert if you bank with this institution Because every time I tried to resolve this problem over the phone I was shortly Dispatched An uncaring manner from Even The bank manager and didn't care Shame on you 1st financial

I would give them a ZERO if i could , i had my card used for the Wrong amount , i called the 800 number , they told me to dispute it , so i did , they even walked me through doing it , well one week later they turned my cards off , & refused to get new ones. So it is my fault knowing that i called Them & they walked me through and now i am being penalized for something they told me to do , Not good . TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET NOTHING IN RETURN , THEY ARE NOT WORKING FOR YOU , THEY ARE OUT FOR THEMSELVES !!

My bank account got hacked into a few months ago and now I've been stolen money again! They tried to take a certain amount off my card which was the incorrect amount so they tried voiding it and retaking the amount I had asked and it declined my card! Here it is 7 day later and I STILL don't have my money. After today I get the file paper work with my card company to finally and hopefully get my money BACK....bank refused to give me my money when it was there fault anyways! I was just told "I would just be easier to get automatic deposit"! Like it's not my fault you f***** it up. Looking into taking my business elsewhere.

After many years, Im giving up on MainSource. I can honestly say that this is the worst branch of the absolutely worst bank I've experienced in my life....sad, because it wasn't always that way. I'm a strong believer in buying local ~ but they've really changed. You can see it in the empty lobby and lack of growth. There is zero recourse for customer concerns, and fewer when you've experienced unauthorized transactions. Given thier absolute focus on maximizing fees and lack of service skills, I'd prefer an actually consumer oriented bank elsewhere.....
