There was a short period when the prices were really affordable. But recently along with the remodel, it got very expensive. I bought a curio cabinet from them about 7 months ago for $10. I saw an almost identical one today, just a darker Walnut color, and they wanted $70. Will not be going there again.

Always something to find at this location with better prices than other goodwill stores that charge more than retail.

I swear they get a new person everyday. Constantly hear fighting with the staff on the floor when I’m trying to shop… all they will sell you is a beat up exercise bike, and shirts from local high schools.

Staff was phenomenal, especially Jim! The store is very well organized and clean. Most prices are fair except clothes, which we find a bit high. (For example, a simple tee was $9. Leggings for $8. Paperback books .79c DVDs $2.) Overall we'd shop again!

The manager Lynette sucks over there. She sold me a broken trampoline. Then when I went to return it, she wouldn’t take it back because she labeled it as furniture and she took the price tag off. Even though it was broken when she sold it; it was even within the seven days, it was only worth $10 bucks. So let’s lose a customer. She wasn’t even sorry about it. Blaming it all on Goodwill; um you are Goodwill.

Young cashiers should be trained in manners. Saying please and thank you should be automatic.

I love this store for some things. One-offs. But the prices of the clothing have become ridiculous. I still shop here, but I leave with less.

GOODWILL Store of St. John, IN is conveniently located with easy access off Rt. 41 & is set back among other brick & mortar stores. The building is spacious and I found it housed a large amount of items. Racks of clothing were predominant and filled the center of the store as well as dresses along the perimeter right. I found them to be arranged neatly by size and occasion wear. There was not a great selection of formalwear this day (hit or miss) & I was hoping for additional dot savings but none on this particular day. Walking toward the back of the store I found shoes as well as linens for the kitchen and various packaged beddings & household appliances. I did not see much furniture and was disappointed that this GOODWILL does not carry costume jewelry …the store clerk confirming this. All in all I was hoping for better luck. Of itself the donation center was clean, organized and does have particular sales days for its customers. If you register at checkout you can be notified of special sales, days & dates which is nice. There is no cost to do so & seniors get 10% off ticket prices. I am not affiliated with GOODWILL Stores & this review is my opinion only.
