This has to be the worst pharmacy around!! I have been using this Walgreens in Saint John since I moved here in 2002. I have never had a problem until the past 3 months. Every time I have a prescription it takes 2-3 days to be filled! Just had an emergency triple bypass open heart surgery and had to wait 2 days for my prescription to be filled!! Couldn’t get my pain medication because they will not deliver it and I currently can’t drive per heart surgeon orders!! Enough is Enough I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy!

The worst pharmacy in Walgreens history waited for 30 minutes inside just to get my prescription then for them to tell me it wasn’t ready even though I spoke to somebody and they said it would be ready at 2:30. This location never has enough staff. There’s always a line wrapped around the building inside and out. Don’t tell someone their medication is gonna be ready at a certain time unless it’s actually going to be ready. Also, one of the girls ringing out patients should not be working in healthcare, very rude and huffing and puffing when she sees this line. I sadly will join many others who feel something is not going well at the Saint John Walgreens. I have noticed it is taking longer to fill prescriptions. Example-Called on a Thursday- Medication would not be ready till Monday. Today Doctor E-Scripted two antibiotics to Saint John Walgreens. I checked the Walgreens app- they got the script- but it was not being processed. Called several hours later; as it was getting late- and an uncaring tech said there are 100 scripts ahead of mine, and she added the phone notification; and said to wait for the text. I asked could I just get the eye drops filled today as my eye is infected. Vision and Eye health is important- not to the tech- she was uncaring in her response. She was almost robotic and clearly I was less than a least concern issue. I did not receive any text by closing time- 9 PM. I looked online- nearest 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy was in Valparaiso. Called them explained what happened; and the friendly, kind and caring tech informed me she would get both scripts ready- and they would be available in 20 minutes. I went to Valpo-got my scripts and the Pharmacist there was also super friendly. I highly recommend the 24 hour Valparaiso Walgreens location. Everyone knows there are other Walgreens in the area- look around. As for me- I will no longer use the Saint John Walgreens Pharmacy.

The last few months i've had nothing but problems with the way I have been treated and spoken to by younger professionals. I was at the point of
Pulling out of walgreens system and
Moving on. AND THEN I HAD THE pleasure of the assistance of the pharmacist JUliANNA. She is truly a role model for the younger generation.
After weeks of multiple attempts and countless hours, I waited in line inside
And has one of the most productive conversations in regards to my prescriptions that I can ever remember.
She is truly a Godsend
With the patience of an angel Taking her time and explaining to me that she would straighten out my account and Also apologizing about the past conversations I had with inept heartless employees who hate there jobs.
This one person, this one pharmacist HAS reinstilled my faith in your store.
Walgreens is truly blessed to have this employee.With the patience and caring and the know how to resolve problems.
I can't thank her enough as she Reassured me if I had any other problems.To personally come and speak with her and she will take care of any situation. Definitely a future leader of america Thank you again Julianne 🙏 👏

Asked technician over phone if my prescription was going to be ready she said can't fill till February 1st I said that is tomorrow do I need to call back to have it refilled or is it automatically going to be refilled she said I can't leave any notes and hung up phone

The Pharmacy department is the poorest service in Indiana. They are rude on the phone and not helpful to their clients and they lack empathy. Whoever is running that place needs to evaluate their staffing because they are not adding value to the services they are providing.
If healthcare is not your grace, then I would find another profession.

The pharmacy has gotten much better. I understand some things are out of their control. But, over all the employees are much nicer. Especially the young lady in the health/beauty department. Hopefully the store continues to improve.****Update: The store manager is awesome! And the gentleman in Pharmacy is always very nice!

Jamie is a rockstar!! We ordered a canvas print for Mother’s Day and the photo department was swamped, so our order wasn’t ready after the expected time that the website told us. Jamie came to the rescue and got our order together there and then. He did an amazing job on our canvas print and my boyfriend’s mom couldn’t have been happier with the gift, and we owe it all to Jamie!

I've had great success with this location. Routine Rx and help when MD messed up facilitating my insurance requirements. Have done all my vaccines here too...really appreciate their team. Store is busy...all the time.

Probably the worst pharmacy in all of lake county, they always take forever. The last time I went there, after getting a text saying the prescription was ready, I get there and they said 30 more minutes. So, I waited around 30 minutes, went back and now they said 45 minutes, probably switching to cvs now. Also they close at 6pm on Saturday’s.
