Brought a Poulan 306A into their shop today after my pull chord got jammed. When they got around to looking at, it only took them less than an hour to get it revving for the first time since I got it. Unfortunately, as they were testing it outside for me, the clip inside the piston completely flew off (which of course was no fault of their own) and damaged the cylinder, rendering the powerhead nonfunctional. Very apologetically, they didn't charge me for the regular rate for labor and even recommended another repair service where I could find the replacement parts I needed, including giving me the specific numbers and names of who I could contact, as they said it was a little more than they had the proper tools for. As for the parts they DID replace, the prices were VERY reasonable. Super friendly and very knowledgeable staff. No one fixes machines better than backwood ole boys like these fellas, and even though as of writing this review my saw is still inoperable, I couldn't have asked for a better group to tell me everything I needed to know about my specific unit. I recommended this small town service for anyone needing small machine maintenance!

This is an amazing place for 2 cycle equipment repair. There is no place anywhere in our area of Southern Indiana or possibly the entire state that can compare to the level of expertise and quality offered in this shop.

I had a Husky no one would touch. An old guy came into my clinic and said D&D in Salem was the best in the world. I thought he was exaggerating. I drove an hour and a half before I reached the “driveway”. Thought I would need 4wheel drive to get up to the shop. Walked into chainsaw heaven. The guys stopped what they were doing and fixed it right away. They said the Husky tool that was needed cost a thousand dollars so they built one of their own! 15 minutes and $5 later, I walked out with a perfectly running chainsaw. Yes, FIVE dollars! These guys are beyond amazing and their customer service is THE BEST!! Take the drive and be prepared to be treated right and have your chainsaw better than new!

People come from several states away to do business with these guys. The best on repairs the best on knowledge of the equipment and over all just good honest people. Worth the drive beware of the driveway goin up the hill to the shop though . Lol

Matt and Luke are very knowledgeable about chain saws, weed trimmers, outdpors equipment, etc. Very reasonably priced on everything. An off the beaten path business that is definitely a hidden jewel but seems everyone who is in the logging or tree business knows the whole state over. If you don't come away learning some Very useful information, you weren't Really Listening. One of those places you just can't wait to go back to in order to learn more and hear the great conversation. Saved us hudlndreds by rebuilding our Stihl weedeater and even set us up with a brush cutter head on it to help us trim saplings under our fence and around our pond. The entire staff is FANTASTIC.
