Don’t waste your time and money. Lady that did our taxes was confused and kept changing things . We filed married joint and said we would get more if we did it that way . I was going to file separately but she flipped flopped and said it would be better if we filed jointly. My return went from over 2k to 900 . The worst part is they’re taking $550 for their fees. They’re making more the me . Go to a real tax specialist and save money. Total ripoff.

Very shady business practices at this location. The owner sets the fees as high as possible/allowed by corporate, then offers a coupon throughout the tax year to use at the next year’s tax season to seem like you’re getting a deal. You’re not; any other JH location in the area offers the same services for far less money. Predatory business practices at best, especially when it comes to elderly and low income customers. The service would be decent if there was ever more than one wide-eyed and terrified tax preparer in the office. Is there an office manager that is ever available during the day to help preparers? They say walk ins are welcome, but how? How can you walk into a business and expect good service if you don’t have enough well prepared people to staff it?

Went to office on March 17, 2022, explained needed help with Mother's Estate Tax. After discussing Adriana she setup an appointment for Thursday March 24, 2022 3:30 pm. Arrived on time, Adriana was not at office, talked to associates of her and they said they couldn't help, but said they would inform Adriana and she would call Friday. On Monday called again, they said she wasn't in but would call. She never did!Maybe this was rare or one off occurrence. Would of been nice if they just called and said can't help and don't want your business at least something.Wasted trip 1 Hour to office and 10 days attempting to do business with Hewitt Jackson Schereville In office

What a joke I understand that this is the last day so I come in at 10:30 in the morning they put me in I drop it off and I tell them exactly what’s going on that I have $15,000 worth of winning lottery and I also have $15,000 worth of losing ticketsThey call me back at 7:30 PM to tell me that I owe almost $3000 and federal taxes because of the lottery winnings and they can’t put that I lost $15,000 because they don’t have closing tickets while I have pictures of them they still want them physically stacks of frozen tickets I’m talking about buckets and I’ve been playing lottery and winning for 10 years I never had to go through this now I’m out here at 8 o’clock at night on April 18 last day of taxes scratching my head thanks a lot never go to this location pathetic

The ladies here are so professional and it’s customer service at it’s best. They are very attentive never try and rush through your filing process and make sure they are very accurate. I have never had an issue with irs while filing with here. They’re very thorough. Get your taxes done here and they will be done right!

We've been coming to this JH location for the last 3 years. Always a great experience here. Adriana and Janet take care of their clients. I appreciate that they go out of their way to help us get the most out of our tax return.We actually pass several JH/other tax prep places on our way to this one. Yeah, there are locations more convenient, but we intentionally come a bit further because the peace of mind knowing that things are done properly is worth it.Thank you; see you next year!
