I applied to rent a passenger van from this company. Of course they requested proof of commercial auto insurance. I sent it over my policy and out of unwarranted distrust, and without my permission, they called my insurance company who verified that my policy was in force. Instead of accepting this as proof enough, they further inquired whether my policy would cover a rental vehicle, to which my insurance company rightly explained that they do not give out those kinds of details to third parties.This company denied me a rental vehicle because as the owner stated "their response sounded suspicious". I have never heard such a poor excuse to not rent someone a vehicle in my life. The worst part of the experience is when I asked her what he usual process for proving insurance was, she stated that she would "normally" ask the renter to contact their insurance company to verify they covered rentals. This means that I was treated in an unusual manner. I have no idea why she did not ask me to contact my own insurance company as is their usual protocol.No worries though. I went to a normal vehicle rental company and had the normal vehicle rental experience. It does bother me that this is a small business as am I, and they do not recognize the value of small businesses sticking together. Very disappointing experience.

I bought Bali Solar Shades. I'm angry with the product, service, and installation. To keep things in perspective we treated 2 windows that each had 3 windows in them for 6 total motorized solar shades. It was 35 percent off and 2500$. Not cheap.First, the product, we just hit the 24 hour mark and one of our valences somehow has a wrinkle on it and two of the solar shades have creases... During installation my wife was here with my sister in law and the guy was having difficulty and was swearing a ton. Furthermore, the programming on the remote was garbage. The swearing is completely unacceptable.The service, I went to Home Depot to complain and he gave me a manager to talk to. Apparently he and the install guy talk and he calls me back. This is in regards to the window supposed to be custom but yet when follow extended 1/2 of the shades (1 full set of 3 windows) drops down over the bottom paneling. Their solution was to stop it and program it from going all the way to the bottom? I shouldn't hVe to click a button to stop. Why did the living room match perfectly? Racism or bad customer service! Not sure. I stopped 2 different associates. They both said " I will send an associate over here. " I never got help and they never called for any either.

Today has been complete insanity! But home Depot has made my shopping experience a lot easier. I went to a competitor, complete disaster! A lot of people say that home Depot cost a little bit more than its competitors, but honestly I would pay the difference in price just to get the excellent customer service I always receive when going there! I have seriously had the worst day ever, and then went to home Depot and they made my day end up being way better. I went to purchase some items that I wasn't able to get elsewhere and ended up getting a lot more stuff than I would have because of their excellent customer service team. People just want to be treated nicely and equally when they go to spend their hard-earned money. They offered me a credit card which I usually don't do, but since I had already unfrozen my credit for the day, I said why not? So they approved me. And I'm excited to start on my next project! I would recommend home Depot to anyone! They are clean, friendly, and affordable! They are also conveniently located in every city!

So I left Menards to come here and that was one of the biggest mistakes. Nobody is required to wear masks here. That includes workers and customers. So busy with people there is not one parking spot about but they are not even limiting how many people to go in. So if you want to get sick and have people climbing on top of you go here in Schererville. It shows they do not care about the health safety or welfare of their workers or customer's. It is only about the money at this time with the pandemic

The equipment is in ok condition, but it gets used hard by the people who rent it. The workers should inspect the equipment before its rented out again to the next person.

Purchased a brand new Samsung Flex washer & dryer combo. The delivery drivers arrived late (after the 4-hour window they had given me) After working for about a half-hour, the installers showed me that both the washer & dryer were hooked up & had power. The following morning, my wife went to do her first load of laundry in the the new washer. As soon as the washer entered the spin cycle, the washer began to violently shake & vibrate, travelling nearly a foot across the laundry room floor. We immediately shut the power off and began to take a closer look. The first thing we noticed was that both the washer & dryer were not secured to their bases (we purchased the 6" Samsung bases for this washer/dryer combo) Underneath the washer, we found the plastic bag that included the hardware needed to secure the base to the washer. (Yes, the washer and it's base was literally sitting on top of the hardware bag!!) The bag of hardware for the dryer base was nowhere to be found & we assumed it was tossed by the installation crew. We also found that the shipping bolts for the washer were still hanging out the back of the washer. The installation instructions call for these to be removed, they were not. We also noticed the smell of natural gas in our laundry room & found no thread sealant or pipe dope on any of the gas line connections. After removing the washer from it's pedestal, we found a plastic mounting tab to be sheared off (probably during violent shaking episode). Unfortunately, we now have two useless pedestals. One with a broken part and the other without it's installation hardware.

Great customer service. Online orders ready for pickup within 4 hours. Last time I was in there I wasn't able to go more than a few minutes without anyone asking if I needed anything. Online free delivery for orders exceeding $50. Their lumber selection is better than most other big box stores.

The Tool Rental Dept is highly inefficient. The older guys clearly need to be placed in a desk job because physically, they just don't wish to keep up anymore. During the last two out of three times I rented equipment, I was assisted by other customers when loading the equipment into my pickup. The two older gentlemen might be knowledgeable, but they certainly are not actionable. Find these guys some help- you're losing customers.

I've rented tools here a few times and have never had a bad experience. The staff knows their tools and they are patient and friendly. Prices seem competitive with other rental places.
