Store is junky because merchandise is not selling. Associates are still working even when they have Covid-19 because the store is being ran on a skeleton crew.

I used the Walmart store app to do a price check on an item, storage bags 4 pack jumbo size. In store price was $31.99 but the price check listed item at $26.43. The store refused to honor the price on there own app! Piss poor customer service.

Checkouts continue to be undermanned. I am not an employee and do not want to check myself out. Only 2 checkouts available. Schedule more employees.

On December 9th 2020, while shopping at Walmart Schererville I had a manager watch my daughter, grandson, and I scan our items because we had full shopping carts, & wanted to use self check out, instead of dealing with an associate in a line. Initially we were kicked out of self check out area, and told that we had too many items (when there was no sign posted referencing an item limit), and when we got to the "belt" option, we were watched by management! Because I have NEVER experienced anything like this, it took me 10 minutes to realize what was going on, but when I finally realized that my family was truly being watched, I became hurt, angry, & sad. As a black shareholder, a Walmart personal card holder, A 2 business membership and card holder of Sam's Club, & LOYAL customer, I am ashamed to see how blacks that choose to patronize the Walmart in Schererville Indiana are treated!! In the end, a manager made the other manager move to an area where she could watch all of the lanes, and not just my lane.

Honestly in the over ten years I've shopped here it's gone down hill fast. You call and can be on hold forever and they just say "theyre on break/lunch" and it's almost a constant wait for help anymore.

Ok what experience, Mona the person at door, what a smart a** she is. Zero customer service skills. My question is does Walmart have a new rules u must check receipts if the person looks older. Last three visits I've been check each time I leave. Been going to this location for 12yrs Watched other people walk out with out getting checked ??? Issue w Mona was her her rudeness, and condescending attitude. She needs to be put in the back room or just walked out of the store.

A 22 year old goes to purchase a box of ammo. He is denied this purchase because he is there with his 20 year old brother. The 20 year old wasn't buying the ammo, the 22 year old was legally. Father of both of the boys had to come in and the purchase was made without a problem from a different sales associate. Why the discrimination Walmart? The one associate said it was "walmart policy". Well I want to see that policy in writing!!!

What the actual F? This is the craziest most bizarre Walmart I have been to ever. I had a in-store pick-up. Naturally, the two spaces reserved for pick-up were taken by non pick-up customers which is not only annoying, but incredibly LAZY. I just feel like no one here gives one F. Do online shopping for everything (including grocery) and head to Merriville. They bring everything out to the car and the employees are really great and super engaging.

Stopped by to quickly pick up some dog food and misc items. Two Cashiers working one was dealing with some type of customer issue (guessing price of an item). I counted 15 people standing in line waiting. Not a manager or another employee around to open another register or get the issue resolved. I along with a few other customers were tired of waiting in line not moving for 5 minutes without other options except self check out. I won't be back anytime soon

This is not my favorite store in area employees are rude and unhelpful. It is difficult to find anything and checkout lines are long.

The store, and the people inside, who work there, are fine. I like the bargains, but like so many others, I lament that Walmart's success has meant the death of the small mom-and-pop stores. But I digress. What I'm writing about today is the danger OUTSIDE the store. Today as I walked into the store, I witnessed a raging almost-fistfight between two men in the parking lot, and as I was driving away, a young guy in a big sedan driving the wrong way into the one-way parking row, asking people for money for a CD he was selling!! I couldn't help but think that he might hoodwink unsuspecting elderly folks, and, while he was at it, he might crash into someone who was driving the correct direction. Schererville Walmart, how about having a patrol car cruising through your parking lot? You might gain a little more trust from shoppers if we felt that you cared enough to keep us all safer. I know that Walmart can't do everything. Still, bumping it up a notch to care for your outside--as well as the bargains inside--seems a good step in regaining customer trust and making your store safer.

I was very impressed by the salesperson in the electronic department. Keith was very helpful and took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different TV. There was another incident, when the manager in the service department was extremely helpful, unfortunately I did not get her name.
