I have been unable to get my CGM prescription after an insurance issue with new year coupled with being sent to a super busy, short staffed Walgreens. It's been 2 weeks, days of fruitless phone calls (2 hours on hold only to get disconnected by the other Walgreens multiple times) along with corporate telling me there was nothing they could do. In a matter of 5 minutes, Heather was able to transfer my prescription to her Walgreens and get it all handled and ordered. Having covid currently (needing to check my blood sugars more than ever), I have never felt so helpless in getting what I need. I understand how rough it is and that pharmacists are completely overwhelmed right now. I am just so thankful for Heather saving the day! I just wanted to give some kudos!”
