Our son had purchased a Mazda, at Basney. We were very impressed with the Mazda & had been talking about getting a new car. Our son said to go there & talk to Tim Baranski, that he would take good care of us. We took his advice. Tim was wonderful. No pressure, great person to work with. By the time we took the car for a test drive (it ran so quiet) we were sold. We are seniors & we wanted as many of the safety features that we could get in a new car. They had one on the lot AND in the color I wanted. After getting all the information from Tim, we decided to quit looking & buy. Thank you, Tim, for all your help! We are very happy with our new Mazda C5.

We recently went into the dealership knowing the exact Mazda CX-5 that we wanted to purchase. Chad Klein was quick to greet us and answer all of our questions regarding the vehicle. He is not the typical pushy, in-your-face salesman that you might meet at other dealerships; he didn't try to pressure us into looking at other cars - he was happy to help us with exactly what we wanted. Chad was extremely knowledgeable with the specs of the car, which is especially impressive considering that he mostly works at the Basney BMW dealership next door. Overall we had a great, stress-free experience and would gladly recommend working with Chad and Basney Mazda/BMW. Thank you, Chad!

I worked with Tim Baranski and Dean. Tim was absolutely amazing! I was coming from out of state and he made the whole process so easy. He answered any questions I had super quick and the car was ready to go for me when I got there. I also loved that the price was just the price. I paid the price I saw online plus the $250ish dollar paperwork fee (which is listed online) and sales tax. No hidden fees or anything like that. They did explain the different warranties they offered but there was absolutely no pressure to get any of them. Paperwork with Dean was also super quick and easy. Literally took 20 minutes if even. My experience at Basney Mazda was fantastic and if I was in need of another Mazda in the future I would be willing to make the drive again just to get it from them.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful here but Shawn Rembold was the salesman that picked up the phone when I called and I'm so glad he did. It took me awhile to commit because I wanted to wait a few more years to buy a car but my Kia had manufacturing issues and it was time. I met with a lot of dealerships over the summer but I came back to this dealership because I appreciated the low pressure sales people here and thoroughness in explaining everything. It's a nice change and I will forever recommend this dealership.

Great experience buying our new car with Basney Mazda. Especially working with James and Dean. James made all the transactions smooth and we just went there to pay and drove the car home. Dean explained all the contract stuff and didn't pressure us on getting any add ons and warranties. We really appreciate the transparency and honesty from both guys. Especially after sharing our previous bad experience with other dealership when we purchased our first car. They earned a new permanent client on us.
Worth the 4hr drive from and to Central Indiana.

Don't go there!!!
First of all, price is too high compared to dealers in Chicago. I was looking for new cx 30 and mazda 3. No chance I will buy here while I can get 3k off in Chicago. This happened in 2024 June.
Second, the sales are so rude. I only have my Chinese driver license which is okay to test drive in any other dealers or rent a car in US, but not in here. Not offering me anything, at least water come on, it was hot back then. also feeling kind of racist.
Once I left, got a deal in Chicago, the sales started to call me, told me there's no way they can make the price this low, told me it's a scam. lol. What a cheap move. Bad experience.

Just bought our 1st Mazda from Barney Mazda. The entire experience from start to finish was a pleasure. James & Dean were the ultimate professionals making sure that we got the exact car that we wanted at the best deal in the midwest. It was sooo worth the 1 hour drive to deal with this team. Give them a call! We put a down payment down over the phone & drove it home that day, no surprises, just great service through the whole process. We'll definitely be back!!!
