*Update to review. I went from a 3 star to a 1 star. The store has gone down hill. We always went to this location instead of Grape road. The staff is rude & doesn't know what they are talking about with how things have always been when we have been shopping here since they opened. I asked if this store was closing because they barely have certain kinds of fabric, and the selection keeps going down. She gave me a dirty look and said "NO it's because our location is smaller." Umm, NO, those shelves used to be stocked full, and since we have been shopping here since it opened like 6 or 7 yrs ago, maybe longer we know what we are talking about. The cotton fabric selection is getting smaller and smaller.
Like this Joanns better than Grape Rd. The store is always clean and welcoming. The staff is sometimes hit or miss. You have to get a restroom key to use the restroom which when you can't find an employee is hard to do. Target, Walmart and every other store even mom & pop stores don't make you ask for a key.

Always love going to Joann Fabrics. I spent almost $75, but with all the sales and discounts, I paid $47. Shop your local Joann and keep them in business! So much better buying thread and beads in person instead of online.

First and last time in this store. Treated like trash especially when Dianna/She/Her (what was on her name tag, ?) told me I should shop at the Dollar Tree when I asked if they had plain gift bags. Then waited up front for an associate (Dianna again) to ring me up. They had just opened 10 minutes prior, so I suppose she didn't have time to finish the personal conversation she was having with another employee before they opened. I had to holler from the front asking for service to which she responded, "I'll be there in a minute" Yeah, if I wasn't in such a hurry and Joanne's wasn't the only one to carry a musical note ornament that we needed that morning for my son's teacher, I would have walked right on out. Hobby Lobby will always have my business, now I know why I always go there.

Store was very clean. All associates were very helpful and friendly. It wasn't very busy but everyone still busied themselves with tasks to make customer shopping enjoyable.

I love my Joann Fabric stores! I visit the one in South Bend, IN and also the one in Plymouth, IN. Both are friendly, helpful, and have great sales. I wish the one in Plymouth was larger like the one in South Bend.

I needed assistance with a new type of yarn. I stopped an associate. She was honest and let me know she couldn't answer and got someone who could. They were very helpful and polite.
