I had a terrible experience at this Meijer location. My friend and I simply tried to ask a question, and when my friend said, “Excuse me,” the manager screamed “No!” right in our faces. He was extremely rude and clearly wanted nothing to do with us. I’ve worked in retail and customer service for 10+ years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Completely unacceptable behavior from management.

Very poorly managed store. Will be out of the same item for weeks and weeks at a time. While the Mishawaka store is always fully stocked. The self check out is a major pain. Almost no one on the floor working to help people. And they have the worst carts I have ever used in my life. Absolute garbage.

Very frustrating when there is a single service checkout lane open and we are forced to use self-checkout. I would like the option. I don’t get a discount for checking out my own groceries. There were four staffers standing around talking, when one of them could have been working a lane. Very poor customer service. There are lots of workers not doing anything. Just standing around.

This Meijer has gone vastly downhill since Walmart closed. Food in the deli section will go weeks expired without being removed or marked down. Old sale signs are never removed, causing price confusion at checkout. Shop and scan checkouts are constantly down, so don't bother trying to shop and scan, you'll waste your time. And half the checkouts were removed to replace with self checkouts, which constantly think people are stealing and lock up, which means you have to wait ten minutes for an employee to show up.

Self checkout no longer offers cash back and they removed all their ATMs, it's ok for just another corporate grocery store I guess but the fact they are trying to take away cash options is kinda messed up. I used to use the self checkout to get cash back and avoid ATM fees but I can't even do that now.

I have my own job, i shouldn't have to check myself out when i go shopping. If thats the case i want am employee discount. Its getting to be just as bad as walmart was.

Checkout is a forever nightmare.
I stopped going here because of their checkout process (or lack thereof)
