Merrimans' Playhouse is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) arts and educational organization dedicated to promoting the art and education of jazz in the community. Founded by Stephen Merriman and Mary Merriman, the organization began presenting a Jazz Performance Series in 2006 to provide an intimate setting for audiences to experience the creative jazz process. Merrimans' Playhouse brings regional, national, and international professional touring jazz artists to South Bend, hosting around 100 concerts per year. Absolutely perfect. Great music. Awesome vibe and the song is so relaxing. Steve is a wonderful soul who i admire and feel inspired by. I have quickly become a regular.

Came for Tuesday night open (?) and it was awesome. Great jazz music and ambiance. Everyone was very friendly, and there were drinks and pastries. It’s free entry with requested donations. Great little spot!
